Infinity Nikki is one of the best cozy games to be released in recent memory. The open-world dress-up experience has been off to a roaring start since its release one month ago, already introducing two content-filled updates. The game's fantasy world of Miraland is enormous, with many areas to explore while collecting the abundance of materials that Infinity Nikki has to offer. A unique dress-up gaming experience, with many outfits to unlock, craft, collect, and style, players can enjoy the game's main story revolving around the obtaining of various clothing items and outfits.
Infinity Nikki as a cozy game is doing many things right so far. Firstly, the gaming experience itself is very relaxing, with the occasional combat with Esselings being a relatively easy activity compared to combat in other games. Infinity Nikki's variety of ability outfits allow players to engage in all the typical farming sim activities like bug-catching and fishing, while also introducing more unusual abilities like being an electrician or animal-grooming. Collecting materials is essential for players to be able to craft outfits in the game, and one can spend a lot of time exploring the endless wardrobe customization options through styling Nikki. However, there is one classic farming sim feature that is missing in the game: decorating.
Decorating Would Be Perfect For Infinity Nikki
The Game Is Already All About Styling
If decorating were a feature in Infinity Nikki, it's fair to say that, given the quality of every other gaming feature in the game, this would be done just as well. From having the opportunity to customize a home for Nikki, not to mention a special den for her kitty companion, Momo, the options for gameplay when it comes to creative freedom could be endless for Infinity Nikki players. Undoubtedly, there would likely be craftable decorative items which would require obtaining the various materials around Miraland, and perhaps we would see some limited-edition decorative items appear in the Store.
A New Decorative Item Might Be A Sign
More Decor Could Be On The Way
Thanks to the latest in-game update in Infinity Nikki, the 1.1 Shooting Star Season, the game's very first decorative item has arrived. The new addition, the Uncaged Wishes reward, is an exclusive item that players can unlock after reaching 160 Resonance attempts under the limited-time Celestial Wishes Resonance banner. The item can be placed in any open area in Miraland and is a nice addition to photoshoots with Nikki. It could perhaps be easy to speculate that the Uncaged Wishes reward item could be a hint from the developers at Infold Games that decorating could be arriving in Infinity Nikki in the not-too-distant future.
Overall, Infinity Nikki is already abundant with fun features that allow the game to never feel boring. The developers have, so far, been on top of the content, throwing out generous in-game rewards and interesting updates as well as community-driven gameplay improvements on a regular basis. Because the game is within the cozy gaming sphere, it is very possible that the developers are paying attention to the fact that decorating the game is something that its audience may desire. Hopefully, decorating as a feature is something that players of Infinity Nikki will be delightfully surprised with in a future update.
