Need a jolt? IndieWire is partnering with beloved Italian coffee brand Lavazza at this year’s 41st Annual Film Independent Spirit Awards.
At the annual celebration of all things indie, the coffee brand has teamed up with filmmaker and content creator Reagan Yorke, who will join IW’s own Christian Zilko on the blue carpet and then inside the show for insightful (and caffeinated) interviews with all of our favorite talents.
On the Spirits’ iconic blue carpet, Zilko and Yorke will chat it up with some of this year’s nominees and other indie luminaries about their nominated works, creative freedom, what’s next, and what they love about making movies and shows. Inside the show, the pair will engage in longer-form chats (over coffee, of course) about creativity and community.
All of the conversations will be available on IndieWire and Lavazza’s social channels for quick viewing, with other coverage to follow on the site itself.
Ego Nwodim will host this year’s show, taking place at the Hollywood Palladium. The Indie Spirits‘ red (blue!) carpet will kick off at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT on Sunday, February 15. The show itself officially starts at 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT. Before that, catch up on the full list of nominees.
