How to use the Sacrificial Heart in Path of Exile 2

The Sacrificial Heart is a quest item found in Act 3 of Path of Exile 2.

The item will appear as a random drop from enemies in Aggorat — and, since it’s a quest item, you cannot remove it from your inventory. The heart doesn’t seem to give you a quest to track and it takes up valuable space in your inventory, so you’ll need to figure out how to use the heart to get rid of it. On the bright side, it does provide you with a nice reward.

Here’s how to use the Sacrificial Heart in Path of Exile 2.

After exploring Aggorat, you may have come across the Sacrificial Heart, a quest item that’ll give you two weapon set passive skill points if sacrificed at the proper ritual site.

Now, all you have to do is find the ritual site. Luckily, the ritual site is on the same map, Aggorat, but it may take you some time to find it, as the maps in Path of Exile 2 are procedurally generated. You’ll need to explore the map until you find an altar that has a sacrificial dagger and a location to place the sacrificial heart.

Although the map is procedurally generated, every time we’ve found the ritual site, it has been up a set of stairs leading to the northeast. Once you head up the stairs, the ritual site will be in its own area exactly like the area shown in the image above.

To help ease your search, try opening your transparent map and search for a green exclamation point marker and any stairs heading northeast. The green marker and stairs can be easy to miss on your mini map, so there is a chance you already walked past it!

Pick up the sacrificial dagger and place the sacrificial heart onto the altar. Interact with the heart to complete the quest and gain two weapon set passive skill points.
