It is truly bizarre that Hildibrand Manderville manages to get himself tied up in some form of trouble wherever we go. In Dawntrail, it seems that he has crossed the ocean right behind us, and is now getting into mischief in Tural.
We’re surely in for a fun-filled, if incredibly strange, adventure this time around with Hildibrand and co. with the story appearing to center around Solution Nine. If you want to jump in and begin the weirdness all over again, here’s how to begin the Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures in FFXIV Dawntrail.
How to unlock Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures in FFXIV
It goes without saying that you’ll need to have completed all of the past Hildibrand Adventure storylines in A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, Stormblood, and Endwalker, all the way up until the level 90 quest “Gentleman at Heart” before you can dive back into the shenanigans. Hildibrand was notably absent during the story of Shadowbringers, for some reason, but he’s since come back strong.
To pick up Hildibrands’s trail again, you’ll also need to have completed the level 100 MSQ quest “Dawntrail”, as all of the Manderville quests this time around are level 100. If you’ve got all of those things ticked off, you can head to Tulliyolal to begin the Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures.
You’ll find Nashu Mhakaracca directly southeast of the main Aetheryte Plaza in Tuliyollal (X:14.5, Y:12.5), and talking to her will begin the quest “The Case of the Displaced Inspector”. This level 100 quest will send you off to Brightbloom Post, armed with a cutout of Pupu’s UFO, to ask the Landsguard soldiers questions in an attempt to track down the missing inspector.
After doing so, and returning to Nashu to share the results of your investigations, you’ll immediately be transported to The Outskirts in Heritage Found to continue the story. After shutting down the sentry bots outside Solution Nine thanks to some explosive medicine, you’ll gain entry to Solution Nine itself in order to track down Hildibrand after his joyride in Pupu’s spacecraft.
