How to get the Krampus’s Rod in Fisch (Fischmas update)

5 days ago 3

The Fischmas update has introduced a few new equipment in Fisch Roblox, and the Krampus’s Rod can be yours if you manage to craft it with the right items.

The Fischmas update has ushered in the festive spirit in Fisch, and the new rods are my favorite addition so far. If you were vigilant, the Astral Rod was available as part of a code for 24 hours. However, it’s a basic rod at best, which isn’t the case with the Krampus’s Rod. Let’s take a look at how you can obtain it inside the game and what its in-game stats look like.

How to craft the Krampus’s Rod in Fisch

The Krampus’s Rod can be crafted at the Ancient Archives if you have the required items and the recipe. For that, you’ll need to be at player level 150 or higher, which makes it slightly outside the range for beginners. You’ll also require 30,000 C$ to complete the process.

ItemQuantityHow to get
Icicles3Icicles can be found all around the coast of the Winter Village. It doesn’t have any specific weather or time requirement, and but you can use the Holly Berry bait to improve your odds. You can also find the items from gift boxes that can be fished during the Fischmas update.
Festive Driftwood1You’ll need Driftwood for this item, and you can get them using Crab Cages at Moosewood. Once you find it, go to the vendor and appraise it, as you’ll need the Festive Mutation. If you’re using the Candy Crane rod, there’s a chance for you to hook a Festive Driftwood directly at Moosewood.
Magic Thread1This item is the most common of the three, and you can get it from any location.

Go to the anvil at the Ancient Archives, and you’ll be able to craft the Krampus’s Rod to add it to your inventory.

Should you craft the Krampus’s Rod in Fisch

In one word, yes. Let’s first take a look at its stats.

  • Lure Speed: 30%
  • Luck: 15%
  • Control: 0.15
  • Resilience: 8%
  • Max Weight of Fish: Infinity

This is one of those rare rods in Fisch that has an Infinite weight capacity. With big fishes like the Mosasaurus, Megalodon, and Northstar Serpent being added in recent updates, having a rod without any max weight capacity is a bonus.

The Krampus’s Rod is a very well-rounded equipment whose stats are evenly spread out across all departments. While the in-game stats might not seem great, it’s cheap and, ideally, a mid-game item that can only improve.

Its in-game buff will provide you with a random buff after every 10 successful catches, and they can stack up as well. The buffs, combined with the infinity weight capacity, are a great choice unless you’ve endgame rods in your inventory.
