How to get Super Flippers in Fisch

Swimming is a great exercise for your entire body but is definitely one of the slowest ways of moving around in water. That goes for your character in Fisch as well, which is why finding a boat is the best way to reach most places where you can find great fish.

But if you don’t have a boat, there’s an item that will help you cover great distances faster. Let’s look at how to get Super Flippers in Fisch, with some simple steps and useful tips.

In order to get your hands on the super flippers in Fisch, you just have to pay for them (and be willing to part with your in-game money). They will set you back 30.000C$ — so definitely not an item for beginners. But, once equipped, you will be able to swim much faster than with other flippers.

They can be particularly useful since, in Fisch, your character has limited stamina. This means that if you try to swim for more than a few seconds, especially in the beginning, your character will drown. Wearing flippers will increase your chances of getting to your destination and avoid meeting your untimely end. But where to go to buy them?

Where to find the Super Flippers in Fisch

Here are the directions on how to find the merchant selling the Super Flippers, sailing from Moosewood, the starting location of the game:

  • Spawn a boat from the shipwright in Moosewood.
  • Get on the boat and head straight up.
  • As a generic point, you can use the Statue of Sovereignty (keep the white text on the bottom of your screen).
  • Keep going, leaving the statue on your right, and continue straight on towards the open ocean.
  • After a bit of navigation, also depending on the speed of your boat, you should arrive at a red buoy in the middle of the ocean.
  • Equip your diving gear and dive straight down from where you are.
  • Reach the hole in the ocean’s floor.
  • Once you reach the floor, you should see a danger sign.
  • Ignore it and continue in the right cave, towards a narrow passage.
  • The passage will continue to get narrower, but you should be able to continue swimming.

Once you swim out of the passage, you should see a merchant selling both the Super Flippers and the Tidebreakers. While the Tidebreakers used to be a good option, when they were introduced in the Desolate Dwelling update, they have since been nerfed. The Super Flippers are not only your best option, but also a cheaper way to improve your swimming speed.
