Momo is Nikki’s right-hand cat in Infinity Nikki, and he is utterly adorable in every way. Helpful, perfectly sassy in the right moments, and capable of carrying Nikki around the world when she’s too small to function alone.
At the end of the day, Infinity Nikki is a dress-up game, even with all of the added adventure and collection elements, so it’s only fair that Momo should be allowed some alternative outfit choices. His yellow cape is cute, but it’s always nice to mix things up a bit.
How to get more outfits for Momo in Infinity Nikki
Alternative outfits for Momo come from a range of sources from general gameplay to pulling using Resonance Crystals. There are currently 13 cloaks for Momo that I’ve discovered, so here’s how to grow Momo’s wardrobe.
Cloaks from Kilo the Cadenceborn
Kilo the Cadenceborn is a dragon-like creature who will take Dews of Inspiration in return for outfit rewards and can be found up in Memorial Mountains. As you increase your level with him, he will give you three different cloaks for Momo:
- Level 8: Sunny Day Cloak
- Level 16: Gentle Breeze Cloak
- Level 24: Light Veil Cloak
These cloaks match the outfit that you’ve been unlocking for Nikki over the previous eight levels, so they’re perfect if you want to look like a team in matching uniform outfits.
Cloaks from Deep Echoes
As part of any Banner in Infinity Nikki, you’ll earn something called “Deep Echoes” for resonating a certain number of times. On the Permanent Banner, you’ll be able to get all four of the following cloaks for Momo, with each one available claim every 140 times you resonate:
- Dream
- Starlit
- Crystal
- Wave
As well as this, there’s a cloak available to claim once you’ve resonated 140 times on each of the limited-time Banners:
- Butterfly Dreams: Butterfly Cloak
- Blooming Fantasy: Blooming Cloak
Cloaks through Distant Anthem event
If you unlock the Premium Path of the Mira Journey event, you’ll unlock the Distant Anthem rewards. Once you hit level 30, you’ll be able to choose between the following two cloaks for Momo:
- Roar Cloak
- Nightfall Cloak
Of course, this does mean paying for the Premium Path, but it’s not too expensive and worth it if you want Momo to get some glam in his wardrobe.
Cloaks rewarded for increasing your Styling Rank
Increasing your Stylist Rank all the way to Legendary Stylist will unlock the Gold Cloak for Momo, but this is definitely a long-term goal rather than one to rush for, especially considering the daily time-gated progression.
However, there is at least one sketch for a cloak available as a reward for completing Advanced Courses, the only problem is that I don’t know exactly how I got it so I can’t pass that information forward. I know that it was rewarded for doing something in the Burst of Inspiration category, and at the time of writing, I’m currently sitting at 68% completion of that section.
However you get it, it’s called the Leisure Cloak, and it’s very cute:
How to change Momo’s outfit in Infinity Nikki
To change Momo’s outfit, open up the wardrobe menu and select “Momo’s Wardrobe” at the top of the screen. Here, you’ll be able to switch his outfit just as you do your own, and all unlocked cloaks will be available to choose from on the right side of the screen.
Remember that any cloak Sketches that you’ve unlocked, such as through Kilo the Cadenceborn or as rewards in Advanced Courses, will need to be crafted before they’ll show up on this list.
