Merriment and cheer are finally here for Dress to Impress, the biggest dress-up game on Roblox. The Winter Update has brought plenty of goodies from Santa’s bag, including new clothes, new makeup, an advent calendar, and more.
Keeping in theme with the Halloween Event quest that Dress to Impress hosted, the Winter Event also has a three-part quest for you to complete to earn the sweet Ice Queen set. We’re here to show you how to complete chapter one to get started.
How to start Chapter 1 of Winter Event Quest in Dress to Impress
To join the quest, you’ll first need to get to the Winter Event server. You can do this by either walking through the icy portal in the lobby, or clicking on the server option, and choosing to join the Winter Event.
This will take you to a festive Christmas-themed village, where you’ll receive a letter from Santa. Once you’ve exited from the letter, head up the stairs to the train station and enter the train car labeled Chapter One.
It’s up to you if you want to go solo or join up with up to eight players on a single server. I would recommend going with other players, since if one of you completes certain challenges, everyone will be teleported to the next step. Either way, you’ll be whisked off to the first part of the Winter Event quest.
Finding Santa’s Workshop
You’ll watch a cutscene before being teleported to a snowy landscape, with a sign that points you in the direction of Santa’s Workshop ahead. Go straight up to the sign, and then turn right.
Keep going until you find the workshop in the snow. Luckily, this cabin is hard to miss, and you’ll be able to reach it very quickly. As soon as you or another player reaches the workshop, the next cutscene will begin.
Packing Gift Boxes for the Elves
The next challenge will have you sorting different toys into gift boxes to be loaded onto Santa’s sleigh. Empty gift boxes will be moved down the conveyor belt, and you’ll need to load up the requested toy inside. You can see which toy is needed in each gift by looking at the symbol above it.
In the center will be the different wooden toys with which to fill the gifts. There are four different toys, a tricycle, a doll, a T-Rex, and a train. You need to pick up a toy and place it into a gift box before it’s loaded onto the sleigh.
The gifts move fast enough down the conveyor belt that this part can be tricky if you don’t hustle. I recommend always having a toy in hand and knowing where you’re going to place it. Some boxes require more than one toy to be filled, so take note of what other toys you need to finish it.
You will have a time limit to complete this, as well as a minimum number of gifts to pack. So long as you hit the amount you need before time runs out, you’ll be warped to the final stage of Chapter One.
How to complete the Candy Forest Obstacle Course
The final part is an “obby,” or obstacle course. These are familiar if you’ve completed the Halloween Event Quest, or have earned the Lana Stitch dress. You’ll need to navigate through the course setup, jumping on candy and avoiding the icy water.
This obstacle course is one of the most difficult parts of the Winter Event quest. If you’re used to running the small obstacle courses in the lobby, then this might be a bit easier for you.
Just keep jumping across candies and avoiding obstacles, such as spinning candy canes. Most of all, do not fall in the icy water! You’ll be frozen and need to be thawed out. If this happens, click on the screen when the yellow marker is inside the green part of the bar at the bottom of the screen. It will take a few successful attempts to get out. You’ll also only have 30 seconds to thaw yourself.
Worst of all, though, is that when you finally thaw, you won’t be in the spot you fell. You’ll be transported back to the beginning of the maze and need to start all over.
Take your time with this obstacle course, and don’t rush. It’s better to go slow and steady than have to restart. Luckily, if you’re playing with a group, only one of you needs to complete the course to make it to Chapter Two.
The candy forest obstacle course is the final part of Chapter One of the Winter Event quest, and it’s also the longest of all three chapters thanks to the obstacle course. Upon completion, you’ll instantly be transported to Chapter Two to begin the next section of the quest.
