• Work on your education. Becoming a famous author is no easy feat, so your first step is putting in the work to get there from a young age. Focus on your education and building your smarts until you finish high school.
• Study English in college. Apply to a university after graduating and choose to major in English. Work through college after this, devoting plenty of time to your studies and smarts along the way. Some writer positions only have high school as an education requirement, but for better odds of success down the road, you’ll want to pursue a degree, too.
• Find a job as a writer. Browse the available job listings until you find a position as a writer. You might not find one right away, in which case you’ll either need to age up to the next year or close and reopen the app to refresh your choices. • Max out your performance bar. Keep working harder, and up your hours a bit more if needed, until your work performance bar is completely full.
• Ask your boss for a raise and promotion. Once your performance bar is full, ask your boss for a raise and a promotion. Repeat this step often as you continue to work hard and put in additional hours.
• Keep working until you gain fame. Give your career your all, and eventually, you’ll get a pop-up letting you know you’ve achieved fame. This will likely take several years and a lot of effort, but as long as you work hard, you’ll get there.
