Warning: Minor spoilers ahead for A Good Girl's Guide to Murder season 2.Between Wednesday and A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, Emma Myers is the queen of Netflix teen shows, leading many viewers to wonder how old she is in relation to her characters. Myers returns to lead the cast of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder season 2, reprising her role as teenage sleuth Pippa "Pip" Fitz-Amobi.
Pip managed to get justice for Andie Bell and Salil Singh at the end of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder season 1, and now she's being called on to solve another mystery in season 2. In the sophomore installment, Jamie Reynolds, the older brother of Pip's friend Connor, goes missing right before he's set to testify against Max Hastings, who's on trial for the crimes he committed in season 1.
Pip feels fairly mature throughout both seasons of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, as she's wrapped up in mysteries so much bigger than herself. They also lead to dark places that teenagers probably shouldn't go, which makes it easy to forget that Pip is too young to be investigating such sinister crimes.
Pip Is 18 Years Old In A Good Girl's Guide To Murder Season 2
NETFLIX © 2026In A Good Girl's Guide to Murder season 1, Pip is 17 years old and working on her Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), an advanced course in England that allows students to prepare for college and their careers. The Netflix series shows Pip getting ready for college in other ways, too, like doing a practice interview for Cambridge University. Although Pip's age doesn't show as much when she's doing detective work, it's obvious during the series' many high school scenes.
In the second season, Pip is now 18 and officially an adult. She's in Year 12 or Year 13 of her schooling (essentially, the UK version of a US high school senior) and living with her parents, who are trying to give her more freedom and space. A year older than in season 1, Pip possesses more confidence, particularly when speaking to authority figures. However, despite her capabilities, the heavy emotions of Jamie's missing persons case and Max's trial take their toll, and at her young age, Pip isn't fully equipped to deal with them.
Emma Myers Was 23 When A Good Girl's Guide To Murder Season 2 Was Filmed
Credit: NetflixMyers is the perfect age to play Pip in A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, as she's a young adult herself. Although Myers isn't Pip's age, she's just a few years older. The Wednesday star was 21 years old when she was filming season 1 of the Netflix adaptation, and 23 when A Good Girl's Guide to Murder season 2 filmed in the spring of 2025 (via Somerset County Gazette). This makes Myers 4-5 years older than her character.

Given how close Myers and Pip are in age, the actor could easily return for A Good Girl's Guide to Murder season 3 if Netflix green-lights it. There is one more book in Holly Jackson's young adult series, so the streamer could keep Pip's story going if it wants to. As Pip will age in her fictional world, it makes sense for her to look a bit older. Myers won't be that far ahead, so she can reprise the role if needed. Hopefully, we'll get the chance to see more of her in A Good Girl's Guide to Murder.
