Harry Treadaway is the latest addition to the cast of the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series “Bishop,” Variety has learned.
Treadaway will appear alongside previously announced series lead Joel Kinnaman and fellow cast members John Malkovich, Jordana Brewster, and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
The official logline for the show states, “Homicide detective Bishop Graves (Kinnaman) – brilliant, battle-scarred – will put all of his skills to the test in the hunt for an elusive killer targeting San Francisco’s moneyed class. As this increasingly audacious killer develops a devoted following among the city’s powerless, Bishop becomes convinced these murders connect back to SF’s most powerful man, his own father, Lincoln Graves (Malkovich).”
Treadaway will appear in the role of Wyatt, though exact character details are currently being kept under wraps.
Treadaway previously starred in the critically-acclaimed series “Mr. Mercedes,” which aired for three seasons at the now-defunct Audience Network and was based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King. He is also known for starring in the popular Showtime series “Penny Dreadful” in the role of Victor Frankenstein. His other TV credits include “The Crown” and “Star Trek: Picard.” In film, Treadaway has been in features like “Gringo,” “The Lone Ranger,” and “City of Ember.”
He is repped by Principal Entertainment and Sequel Management.
“Bishop” hails from co-creators and executive producers Little Marvin and Tony Saltzman, with Little Marvin also serving as showrunner. Roy Lee will also executive produce along with Miri Yoon of Vertigo. Amazon MGM Studios, where Little Marvin is under an overall deal, will produce.
