Halle Berry has said she has 'never felt more seen' as she opened up on the horror stories of the film industry whilst promoting her new hit with Chris Hemsworth.
The star, 59, has teamed up with Hollywood hunk Chris, 42, for new crime thriller Crime 101, along with Barry Keogh and Mark Ruffalo.
Appearing on this week's Graham Norton with Chris ahead of its release, Halle said she never felt 'more seen' working on the show.
Halle is the only woman of colour to have won an Oscar for Best Actress. She scooped the gong in 2002, beating Nicole Kidman, Judi Dench, Renée Zellweger and Sissy Spacek.
Describing her character, Halle said she found similarities with her alter ego, explaining to Irish host Graham, 62: 'She stands up for all women in middle life. She has a voice. I think that has been a long time coming.
'Many women who are down the path of life like I am will feel very happy to be seen.'

Chris, 42, described his new movie with Halle as 'sleek and sexy' with complex characters, adding: 'It is a throwback to the 70s, 80s and 90s heist movies that we all love'
Speaking about the working environment on set of Crime 101, Halle said: 'It was amazing. When you've being doing this for over 30 years and you say it is the all-time best, that's something.
'You hear about the horror stories that go on in the industry, but not at all here. I have never felt more seen, protected and stood up for as I did on this movie.'
Asked by Graham about her historic Oscar win, Halle said it was like 'an out of body experience'.
She recalled: 'That night I had an out of body experience. I didn't think I would win so didn't write a speech and I was in utter shock and disbelief.
It was only an hour later that it sunk in, and I couldn't stop telling people, "I won an Oscar!"'
Elsewhere, Chris described his new movie with Halle as 'sleek and sexy' with complex characters.
He said: 'It is a throwback to the 70s, 80s and 90s heist movies that we all love, with a contemporary feel.
'There are complex characters and a deep level of emotion, and it's entertaining, sleek, sexy, and visually pretty stunning. It was the best script I had read in years.'

Rachel, 47, joked about her legendary Mean Girls character Regina George and how hated she was by fans.
She said: 'I didn't know how hated she would be and for how long. The first time I saw the film with an audience I was with my best friend. Everyone cheered when Regina was hit by a bus, but my friend stood up and screamed, "Nooooo!"'
Meanwhile, John, 59, told Graham how it is 'really weird and strange' to have new movie Is This Thing On? based on his life.
He said: 'I wanted to be part of the writing process, but I was too close to the story, so I had to step away. I'm so glad I did. There was a big portion of trust involved, but the end result is brilliant. It really is a lovely film.'
John added that he was tempted to have a cameo in the film, though producers didn't ask him.
He joked: 'I don't think a film by Bradley Cooper is going to be made better by me being in it.'
