GTA 6 Pre-Orders Have Gamers Marking Their Calendars

The release of Grand Theft Auto in November of this year is going to be a pretty monumental occasion for fans across the world, as literal years of build-up finally come to a head, and we all get to see exactly what developer Rockstar has been up to.

That said, the two delays we have had so far have understandably caused plenty of nervousness among the game's considerable community. It's a situation that hasn't been helped by the lack of concrete news we've had so far, and we're about to hit a nexus point where all of our dreams could be made or broken.

Over on Reddit, one user summed up that worry in the player base by posting the classic fork in the road meme, where one path leads to a luscious Winter playing GTA VI, and the other leads to dark times and a third delay. The reason for posting is that is the fact that Take-Two Interactive are due to host their next earnings call in May, the unfortunate site of the last two delays.

Fans in the responses were predictably tentative, with one saying, "Chances are very thin I guess if there would have been some delay why would the CEO talk so much on the internet?" one comment read.

"I don't think there will be another delay. Reasons: We're very close to the announced start of marketing (some time in June-August, probably earlier in this range). Strauss reiterated that the marketing is beginning 'soon', just a couple days ago. In that same interview he joked that we'll be seeing a lot of people take sick days on Nov 19. I'm pretty sure he would've avoided discussing that date altogether if he knew a delay was coming," another added.

Others were less concerned still, with one saying, "I feel lucky that there are so many games I'm able to enjoy at the moment that I constantly forget about GTA VI. If anything, I'll play the hell out of it, but I'm not exactly scratching at the doors for it."

Whenever GTA VI does actually get here, it's going to land with a huge bang when it does release. Experts are already predicting that it should blow past most monetary and sales records with ease, so we have to hope that Rockstar is planning to give us the product to match the significant investment that we're all likely to make in buying it.
