The upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto VI is just about as highly anticipated as any game in history, and the entire future of Rockstar Games is riding on it being as much of a success as the developer and their investors are planning for it to be.
Could GTA 6 Get Delayed Again?

If you weren't already aware, Rockstar's parent company, Take-Two Interactive, is set to have their next earnings call in May. Although earnings calls are usually spectacularly boring from the perspective of the consumer, GTA VI throws a hell of a spanner into the works.
Both of the previous delays to the game have been announced in and around earnings calls for the company and it's a safe bet that, if there is to be a third delay, then we should find out about it next month. On the flip side of that, it likely means that if we don't hear about a delay, then we should be free and clear to take a run at the full release in November, without too much in the way of further issues.
One potential cause of nervous energy is the fact that we get to hear anymore about a third trailer or pre-orders for the game, with digital shopfronts still noticeably not allowing the player base to buy GTA VI in any form. Though that isn’t a terrible thing in its own right, given the pre-order patterns of previous Rockstar releases like Red Dead Redemption 2, it doesn’t do much to assuage the growing worries we all feel.
Equally, if the game is going ahead as planned, then we should hear something in the way of news before the earnings call happens, if only so those involved in the call can report back on the metrics involved in their dissemination of new information. Whether that's the third trailer or something else, all remains unclear for the time being, but don't rule out a third delay in the fine print seconds before the call goes live (as happened last time out).
May 21 Is A Huge Day For GTA 6
In the meantime, we just have to sit tight and hope for the best when it comes to the release of GTA VI. Happily, there are some fantastic games on the way in the meantime that should be more than enough to fill our evenings and weekends while we wait for the crime-riddled behemoth to drop.
