If you haven't booted up GTA Online in a while, now might be a good time. The platform is still getting a steady stream of updates, and now there's a pretty big bonus drop, as long as you snag it in time.
As reported by RockstarINTEL, Rockstar Games is giving away extra GTA Online cash. It's not just a single drop either, as there are plans for multiple weeks of giveaways.
GTA Online Gamers Can Claim $500,000 Right Now
And In The Future
In recent months, GTA Online has been dropping multiple updates, including one that allowed players to buy expensive mansions from the Safehouse In The Hills content drop. As a result, Rockstar is running multiple "bonus weeks" that can grant you free in-game cash.
Here's the full rundown from Rockstar: "Collect up to GTA $1,500,000 in GTA Online bonuses by completing sell missions over each of the next three weeks." Boost executive profits in special cargo and vehicle cargo sell missions, traffic illegal arms as a gunrunner, offfload supply from your nightclub's warehouse, or deliver product from your motorcycle club's illicit businesses. You can also take to the skies in Air Freight Cargo Sell Missions or expand your mind with Acid Lab Sell Missions."
To be precise, those bonus weeks are:
- February 19-25 - $500,000
- February 26-March 4 - $500,000
- March 5-11 - $500,000
Once you've fulfilled the requirements by completing at least one sell mission, your Maze Bank account will receive the bonus, but it might take up to 72 hours to appear. As the community has figured out between the lines, if you complete one sell mission, you will qualify for the bonus.
However, since it takes multiple days to appear, it's a good idea to log in at the start of the promotion, complete a sell mission, and confirm that the amount is in your account first. That way, in case you hit a snag, you can redo a sell mission.

This particular GTA Online promotion runs during the Lunar New Year event, which features Lunar New Year decorations, stunt racing challenges (the Senora Derby), and tattoos. You can also pick up the Karin Sultan RS Classic car in the casino if you hit the wheel just right.
As you can see, there's a lot going on in GTA Online. Even if you're over the wait for Grand Theft Auto 6, there's still a lot to do, and a lot to come back to if you're a lapsed player. It even semi-continues the storyline of GTA 6 by having Michael guest-star in a recent content update.
