Gordon Ramsay has revealed he plans to reboot his legendary Hell's Kitchen UK.

The celebrity chef, 59, who has recently opened a Hell's Kitchen flagship UK restaurant at The Cumberland Hotel in London, has said he is in talks with ITV to bring back the hit series.

Gordon shared the 'good news' for Hell's Kitchen fans as he teased the fiery reboot 17 years after it was cancelled.

'I can tell you exclusively, I think we're gonna come back to the UK with Hell's Kitchen live next year', he told The Sun

'And it's about time because everywhere I go across the UK it's 'please bring it back'. So we're talking now with ITV to bring it back. And fingers crossed we'll have something exciting to keep you updated on.'

Reflecting on the show's earlier years, Gordon added: 'We've been filming out here [America] for the last three weeks.

Gordon Ramsay has revealed he plans to reboot his legendary Hell's Kitchen UK

'We've just finished Hell's Kitchen [US] season 25 – ITV gave birth to this thing twenty years ago when we went live. What the f*** they were thinking sending me live for sixteen nights with Al Murray…'

Hell's Kitchen first aired in Britain on ITV in 2004 with Gordon as head chef.

The reality cooking show proved popular with audiences, attracting seven million viewers during the first episode.

Gordon left the show before the second series and has been executive chef for the American version which has just completed filming its 25th series.

Subsequent UK series limped on with other chefs like Gary Rhodes and Jean-Christophe Novelli, but lacked that distinct, terrifying Ramsay magic.

Following the madness of the UK debut, Gordon launched the US version in 2005 where the show has enjoyed 20 years of success.

This catapulted him into American superstardom, with 'Idiot Sandwich' turning into a cultural catchphrase.

It comes after Gordon revealed he plans to go into business with daughter Tilly one day after she 'impressed' him by standing on her own two feet during culinary school training.

The British chef, who is a proud dad to six children with wife Tana, gushed that budding chef Tilly, 24, 'has a really good palate' and would love to do a 'father-daughter duo'.

Speaking to the Daily Mail at the launch of his new Krude olive oil, Gordon insisted that 'business today is tough' but Tilly is worth 'investing in' after she has proved she can stand on her own two feet.

He said: 'Tilly is finally following in my footsteps, one of my six are keen to get into it, I've got a police officer, commander, fashionista, Tills is out and about finally.

'She was actually part of the blind taste test with the Krude olive oil, she has a really good palate.'

Asked whether he would ever consider going into business with budding chef Tilly, who trained at the prestigious Ballymaloe Cookery School, Gordon added: 'A father daughter duo, honestly it's a tough one.

'Business today is tough everywhere is feeling it. It is a smart concept but yeah I would look at investing in her.

'I was impressed with her graduating university but I was sad to be honest with you.

'I think I was sad in one sense but incredibly respectable in another because she wanted to be taught by someone else.

'I made it clear on day one with the kids around the restaurants that they couldn't think they could walk in there and start working.

'They have to climb that five metre board, 10 metre and earn their way. Even though it is a kick in the b*******s I'll take it.'
