Sales and finance outfit Global Constellation, which is part of the Vuelta group, has promoted Léo Teste to head of sales for its theatrical division, while Lorenzo Bellassai joins as sales executive from fellow Vuelta company Pan-Européenne.

Reporting to Fabien Westerhoff, who heads the company’s theatrical arm, Teste will oversee Global Constellation’s worldwide sales operations, working closely with distributors and talent agencies to further strengthen the company’s position in the global marketplace.

Teste joined Film Constellation in 2019 as a sales executive. He was subsequently promoted to manager, and later director of sales and distribution, playing an instrumental role in expanding the company’s commercial strategy. Most recently, Teste was one of the key executives to participate in the strategic merger between Film Constellation and Global Screen, following their acquisition by Vuelta. In this capacity, he helped shape the newly unified company’s positioning and sales slate.

“Léo is a joy to work with. His exceptional work ethic and deep knowledge of the international sales landscape, combined with his strategic thinking during a pivotal period of transformation, makes him the ideal person to lead Global Constellation’s sales efforts,” the company said in a statement.

“It’s been a privilege working under Fabien’s leadership over the years, and I’m grateful for the continued trust placed in me,” said Teste. “I’m deeply thankful for the support of Vuelta and the incredible team at Global Constellation as we work together to give ambitious films the reach they deserve. I’m also delighted to welcome Lorenzo to the team, whose distribution background will be a real asset as we continue to expand our sales activity.”

Bellassai joins from distribution outfit Pan-Europeene, where he was handling theatrical sales and marketing for Pan-Europeenne since 2022 on French box office hits “A Little Something Extra,” Luca Guadadino’s “Queer” and CGI family animation “The Legendaries.”

Global Constellation’s slate in Berlin includes two films in the Panorama section, Sophie Heldman’s “The Education of Jane Cumming” and Jérémy Comte’s “Paradise,” and is on the market selling upcoming crime romance “Queen of the Falls,” starring Pamela Anderson and Guy Pearce, and CG-family adventure “Dragoons” by Shea Wageman.

Global Constellation is also presenting new promos for Sébastien Laudenbach’s animated feature “Viva Carmen,” queer adult animation “Jim Queen” by Marco Nguyen and Nicolas Athané, noir thriller “Wild Wild East” by Jan Holoubek, WWII drama “Crux” by Ulrike Tony Vahl and CG family animation “The Last Dinosaur” by Federico Milella.
