A glamour model has revealed the awkward encounter she once had with Hollywood action star Jason Statham while working as an extra on one of his earlier films.
Alex Sim-Wise said the bizarre moment happened while she was playing a stripper on the 2008 crime thriller The Bank Job.
Appearing on the Option One Podcast, she recalled having a strange run-in with the star of the movie outside the toilets.
Alex, 44, said the awkward exchange came when she was wandering around set during a filming break, looking for the stylist.
'I had rollers in my hair and I was walking around asking where the hair lady was,' she said.
'Jason Statham came out of the toilets and joked, "You don't want to go in the ladies, you want to come in here with me."'

Alex, who took the moment in good humour, said she 'just ran upstairs'.
It wasn't the only interaction she had with the movie star, 58, that day, saying they had a brief chat while she was filming one of her scenes.
'My part in the film was getting a pint of beer poured down on me about 50 times,' she said, explaining that she was cast as a 1970s dancer.
'Every time they reset the scene they had to re-fluff everything and redo my hair.
'Jason Statham was standing there looking at me and he said, "I hope you're getting paid lots of money for this."'
Alex said she took the chance to have a joke with the action star, and told him she was 'getting paid in bourbon biscuits'.
'I was like, "Yeah, I just really like them." He f***ing believed me,' she laughed.
However, Alex said that wasn't even the strangest part about her experience on set.

The former men's magazine model said she was asked to wear a merkin - a wig for the pubic area - beneath her sheer G-string.
'I got more money because of my outfit,' she explained.
'They took me to one side and asked if I was alright wearing a merkin... I didn't even know what one was.
'They had this lady glueing it on and I was just thinking, "This is a lot." But I really wanted to be in the film, so I just went along with it.'
