Georgia May Foote opened the doors to her new home in Manchester on Instagram on Wednesday as she 'started her happiest chapter'.

The Coronation Street actress, 35, who split from her husband Kris Evans in July 2025, admitted she was 'scared and sad' about moving house but is now 'excited'.

Georgia was all smiles as she sat on the counter top of her new grey painted kitchen as she gave a glimpse inside the property.

She twirled around her living room, which was complete with panelled walls, a dark media wall, a black fireplace and hardwood floors.

Georgia cut a low-key figure for the moving day as she asked fans where to furniture shop and recommendations.

She wrote: 'The start of my happiest chapter. I thought I would be scared and sad about this moment. But turns out I’m beyond excited and so full of happiness I could pop.

'I’m so out the loop with house stuff though! I need your help! Where are we all shopping for our furniture and all those things that make a house a home?

'I’m all ears and ready for your recommendations so please pop them below.'

It comes after Georgia shared the first photo of her new boyfriend on social media after they began dating following her split from husband Kris.

She revealed she is dating music producer Taras Slusarenko, who goes by LiTek online, by sharing a sweet selfie of them together.

Taras has worked with top names including Aitch, Ed Sheeran and Central Cee, with much of his work promoted on his own Instagram page.

He lives outside of Manchester around half an hour away from Georgia, who he met at a run club, but is originally from Russia.

An insider told The Sun: 'Georgia met Taras earlier this year at a running club and they've been smitten ever since.

'He has brought the smile back on her face and they're in a bubble together.'

According to the publication the couple like to jog together and play badminton and were away on a romantic break earlier this summer.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Georgia and Taras' representatives for comment.

Georgia has been 'soft launching' her new man online in recent weeks, but this marks the first time she has shared a photograph of his face.

The photo that Georgia shared from a recent holiday showed half of Taras face and her own, with the caption: 'I'd love to be at the beach right now.

'Feel like a dip in the sea would get rid of this achy body I have and whatever illness I'm about to come down with.'

Georgia, who was reported to have split from her husband last July, addressed her split from Kris for the first time at the start of the year.

During an Instagram Q&A, Georgia was asked whether she was single, to which she replied simply: 'I am single.'

The response marked the first time the soap star has publicly addressed her relationship status since the split.

Georgia also described last year as 'the worst of my life' in an emotional social media post.

In December, she took to Instagram where she reflected on the year.

It was previously reported that Kris had left their marital home, with Georgia also removing her wedding ring and wiping all traces of the musician from her social media.

She wrote: 'Nope. Worst year I've ever had in my life. I couldn't catch a break thank god for my friends and family.'

She continued: 'This has been one of the worst years I've ever experienced. And I know this because literally I couldn't find a single happy period to even post about. So here are some little things that made me happy in the middle of it all. (Not the fire obvs).

'I don't even want to get into why it was so awful. But when the fire happened I really didn't think it could get any worse. Then the stress of this year just sent my vitiligo wild. I really lost all my confidence.

'But if I have learnt one thing from all of this. I'm a fighter. I am so strong. So resilient. I give 12059% into everything I do. The fact I still stand here now, smiling and getting through every day says so much to myself about who I am. No matter what people try and make you think.

'It's ok to cry. It's ok to feel let down. It's ok to feel hurt. But sometimes, you have to tell yourself, one day I WILL have the life I deserve because I am kind. That will be enough.

'Please be kind to others. Please stay strong if you are struggling. Life is hard. But we only get the one. So love deeply. Be loved. And just try and find a little happiness in everyday. Whatever that may be to you.'

Georgia and Kris have kept details of their romance under wraps since meeting in 2018, but the pair got engaged three years later and tied the knot in July 2023.
