What's Next for 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms?'

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a Game of Thrones spin-off set around 80 years after the events of House of the Dragon and based on George R.R. Martin's novellas, The Tales of Dunk and Egg. Starring Peter Claffey as Dunk and Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg, the show follows a hedge knight who competes in a tournament in Ashfield, only to get into trouble with the Targaryens.

Season 1's final episode is set to air this Sunday, but the wait for Season 2 isn't long, as it's scheduled for 2027. Season 2 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is currently in production, with showrunner Ira Parker revealing that one of the challenges the show faces is the budget. In addition, Parker has reassured that Martin will still be involved in the show's production, especially if they do decide to tell more stories beyond the novellas.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is available to stream on HBO Max with new episodes releasing every Sunday. Follow Collider for more updates.
