He burst into the limelight in 2012 as the Northern heartthrob who found love with Vicky Pattison on Geordie Shore.
Yet a decade on from his TV debut, Ricci Guarnaccio is unrecognisable from the fresh-faced hairdresser who ended up quitting the show after his toxic relationship with fiancée Vicky fell apart.
Ricci, 38, returned to the show in 2022 when it was picked up by Paramount+ but in his years away from TV screens he spent more than £50,000 on plastic surgery, now admitting that he's 'addicted' to going under the knife.
When trailers for the new series appeared on X last week, Ricci's fans were left in shock, commenting: 'Barely recognised Rick and Kyle'; 'I don't usually comment on peoples appearances but bloody hell, their faces';
'What's happened to all their faces! Their eyes look tiny, is that the side effect of too much Botox?'; 'Are all their teeth made of plastic?'; 'Oh wow what are my eyes watching, they guys all need help!'

Yet Ricci is proud of his new look, telling The Daily Star: 'I love it, I'm addicted. I think I'm looking sweet now for 38. I've had a few good surgeons.
'I remember watching people on TOWIE and whatnot I was thinking, "Jesus Christ, man, you've had far much work done.'" Then I got my first nose job. And I was like, "Holy s***, this stuff works, how fit do I look?"'
Listing his procedures, Ricci revealed he's had three nose jobs; blepharoplasty (eyelid lift ); lastysmaplasty (jaw tightening) neck muscle tightening; Botox, fillers; and three sets of veneers.
And Ricci insisted that he has no plans of slowing down anytime soon, with the reality star adding: 'I'm definitely gonna get more work as well. I absolutely love it. I couldn't give a toss what anyone says, I look real sweet and tasty. I do think people can take it too far but what's too far?'
Ricci's love of surgery is something that has in common with many of his Geordie Shore stars, with several of them going under the knife after appearing on the show.
While there has been a shift in cultural trends of late and a steer towards the more 'natural' look, it's left some of the MTV stars reversing their procedures or with lifelong regrets.
Ricci began dabbling in enhancements during his break from Geordie Shore, when he worked as a DJ in Australia.
He was known Down Under for his work on the MTV show, with millions tuning in to watch him and Vicky drunkenly arguing on screen.

While it's been more than a decade since they split, Ricci revealed that they are still 'definitely not' on good terms.
Asked if they are speaking he told The Sun: 'No, definitely not. I wish her all the best. I think we have both grown up a lot'.
Ricci returned for the show's reunion without Vicky and said the experience was much more enjoyable as he was no longer 'in a volatile relationship, 24/7 kicking off at each other'.
The exes also appeared together in 2014's Ex on the Beach which forced them to rake of their failed relationship and embark on more blazing rows.
Ricci told the publication: 'It was pretty brutal. In a sense, it's given us both great careers out of it, weirdly.'
He has since been linked to co-star Chantelle Connelly, with the pair enjoying an on/off romance on the show.
Last month, Geordie Shore returned to screens for its 25th series - with the cast claiming it's the 'most explosive series ever'.
The season see the stars travel to Thailand to celebrate Kyle Christie's stag-do.
Ricci found love with Vicky Pattison on Geordie Shore, with the pair even getting engaged before their toxic romance fell apart
Last month, Ricci and Chantelle sat down with an exclusive chat with MailOnline about the series alongside co-star Nathan Henry, 33.
Opening up about what happened between the boys, Ricci said: 'There's a lot more going on with the lads this time, than the girls.
'You can tell... by what MTV are dropping that it's a lot more lad-orientated, the time before in Cyprus, it was the girls.
'I don't think you could ever imagine the bust-ups and the drama between the lads that happened in this series.
'It's never happened ever - even from the days when I first in it as well with Gaz [Beadle] and Jay [Gardner]. It's probably the biggest bust-up.'
He added: 'There's a lot more stuff going on with the lads this time that you wouldn't expect ever and it's throughout as well.'
When talking about the rows, without giving too much away, Nathan teased: 'Who were the rows not between?
'You've got to think, we have all been doing this for ages and we're all big personalities, we're all big egos.
'So when you put all them in a villa and it's hot, you're drinking, you're away from your families, there is always clashes, there always is.'
Last month, Geordie Shore returned to screens for its 25th series (L-R Chloe Ferry, Nathan Henry, Chantelle Connolly, Scott Timlin, Sophie Kasaei, Kyle Christie, Ricci, Holly Hagan, James Tindale, Marnie Simpson, Jay Gardner, and Abbie Holborn)
There was so much so that the arguments that happened made a bit of a frosty atmosphere in the villa.
'It was quite separated - there was a divide,' Chantelle revealed. 'A massive divide in the house, you'll see it.'
When asked if security had to ever get involved during the series, Chantelle said: 'Oh God yes!'
