The pair recently turned heads amongst other A-listers at the Piper-Heidsieck 2025 Australian Open media event at Melbourne Park last month.

Chris attended Caulfield Grammar, a private school in Melbourne, from 1996 to 2001.

Last year, Chris revealed he decided to shave his head in 2006 when his mother Lisa Engel made a brutal comment about the state of 'flimsy hair'.

He said he was reluctant to go through a huge hairstyle change and wanted to keep his locks, but his mother Lisa intervened.

'I think it was my mum who sat me down about a week after the Grand Final and there was a picture of me in the newspaper and she said, 'I think it's time to shave it.' 'It was looking a little bit flimsy at the front, but I reckon I had another year or two in me to be honest.' he said on The Front Bar.

When asked by host Sam Pang why he didn't 'stay strong' and ignore his mother's advice, Chris confessed she may have been right in her brutal judgement.

'It's an uncomfortable conversation to have. If someone who cares about you has gone to the trouble to say, it's a fair chance they're on the money,' he said.

Chris then joked he still hasn't 'ruled out' getting a Turkey hair transplant.

The retired footy player shares four children with Queen WAG Bec—son Oscar, 13, daughter Billie, 10, and twin boys Tom and Darcy, eight.
