Genshin Impact just dropped a brand-new code for free Primogems during its recent Snezhnaya-focused livestream, and you should claim it in due time to start saving up for the new characters. HoYoverse’s action-based RPG is currently in the midst of Version 6.5 and still a ways off from Version 7.0, the patch that will finally introduce players to Snezhnaya, the seventh and final nation of Teyvat. For now, players are looking forward to Version 6.6 and Nicole in Genshin Impact, for example.
Even so, the developer is eager to start showcasing what’s in store for players for the upcoming year, even if there are still a few months before the Version 7.0 update actually arrives. Because of this, the company held a special livestream event focused solely on the nation of Snezhnaya on Genshin Impact’s YouTube channel, revealing a few more details about the region, such as its landscape, the enemies therein, and what inspired its creation.
Claim The Free Primogems For Genshin Impact
Obtain 200 Primogems Right Now
Following the conclusion of the special Snezhnaya livestream for Genshin Impact, HoYoverse revealed a single livestream code, which can be redeemed for a free in-game reward. By redeeming it, you can grab 200 free Primogems right now, which could help you save up either for the upcoming Version 6.6 characters or perhaps the future Snezhnaya characters.
The Snezhnaya livestream code is:
- Snezhnaya20260812
It is worth noting that the code reveals the release date for Version 7.0: August 12, 2026. To obtain the 200 free Primogems offered by this code, it is necessary to redeem it by April 27, at 12 am ET. To do so, you can use the in-game Redemption Code function, found in the settings, or access the official Genshin Impact website and redeem it after logging in. Once the code is redeemed, you’ll need to claim the reward from your in-game mailbox.
What Was Revealed During The Snezhnaya Livestream
The Fatui Will Now Be Tactical Enemies
Apart from the livestream code and free Primogems offered at the end of the special event, HoYoverse also drew out a bit more details about what players can expect from Snezhnaya, on top of what is already known. For example, over the past few years, players have learned that Snezhnaya is the Nation of Cryo and home to both the Fatui organization and the Adventurer’s Guild.
Moreover, the local Archon, known as the Tsaritsa, has been making an effort to obtain the Gnoses from the other Archons for some sort of undisclosed plan – it is expected that this plan is related to the nation’s efforts to defy the Heavenly Principles in Genshin Impact. During the livestream, HoYoverse confirmed that Snezhnaya is a harsh, frigid landscape, and revealed that it is inspired by Eastern European and Arctic locations’ climates and cultures.
A few changes were also partially announced for Snezhnaya, such as enemy behavior. According to the developers, Fatui in Snezhnaya are tactical and will work together as a team when fighting players, rather than trying to approach them individually. Additionally, Cryo will get new uses in the region, being able to “destroy, shatter, and reshape” the battlefield.
On top of that, HoYoverse teased new skins for Aether and Lumine, meaning that the Traveler will get at least one new outfit option. The company also mentioned that playable characters in Snezhnaya will have a more premium visual presentation compared to units released so far. It seems like there is a lot in store for Snezhnaya this year, but players will have to wait until August 12 to uncover it for themselves in Genshin Impact.
