The clock is ticking … or is that something else?
Here’s the new trailer for Fuze, a tense ensemble thriller from Hell or High Water director David Mackenzie that stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Theo James, Sam Worthington and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Watch the clip above and see the poster below.
Here is the logline for the film, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in September: An unexploded World War II bomb is unearthed at a busy construction site in contemporary London, forcing a massive citywide evacuation. Amid the escalating tension and chaos, a daring criminal operation is set in motion — one that uses the evacuation as cover for a meticulously planned heist. As authorities race against time to contain the crisis, alliances blur and moral boundaries are crossed, a series of calculated twists unfolds.

In his Deadline review out of TIFF, Damon Wise called Fuze “exquisitely plotted piece of pulp [and] a high-energy action-thriller … and a surprisingly sophisticated exercise in misdirection, in which bombshell explodes after bombshell.”
Ben Hopkins penned the script for the pic, which also features Saffron Hocking and Elham Ehsas. Roadside Attractions and Saban Films picked up North American rights to Fuze back in November and will release it in theaters on April 24. Sébastien Raybaud, Callum Grant, Mackenzie and Gillian Berrie are the producers.
