Luke Ford is heading to prison.
The 35-year-old Scottish native—who worked as Brad Pitt’s body double in the 2013 film World War Z—was found guilty of 19 charges involving violence, sexual assault, threats and abuse against women, according to a Dec. 18 press release from the Crown Office.
According to the release, Ford was given a 21-year extended sentence, 16 of which will be served in prison and his name has been added to the sex offenders register indefinitely.
E! News has attempted to locate council for Ford for comment.
Ford also bene banned from contacting or attempting to contact the nine female victims prosecution says were targeted by Ford over a 12-year span from 2008 to 2020. Over this time period, Ford was found to have raped six of the victims, in addition to submitting them to physical, mental and sexual abuse, including strangulation, smashing one’s head against a car window and slapping another across the face, according to the BBC.
The outlet also reports Ford was found to have threatened the women with sharing photos he’d taken of them—often taken without consent—with their employers or family if they didn’t do as he’d asked.
One of the rapes involved what is called “stealthing,” which is defined as not using a condom—or removing one during intercourse—without the consent or knowledge of the partner. His guilty verdict marks the first time an abuser has been convicted for stealthing in Scotland.

According to the testimony of the unnamed victim of the stealthing, as reported in The Times, she and Ford met on Tinder in 2017 and had agreed to use a condom prior to having sex, Ford telling her it was a “good idea.”
However, after she handed him a condom before having sex, he later told her he hadn’t used it. “I was shocked and upset,” she told the court, per The Times. “I would not have had sex with him without a condom. I asked him to leave. I felt completely violated.”
According to the outlet, when she confronted him the next day, he dismissed her concerns, telling her, “Just get the pill and if you are pregnant get rid of it.”
A second, anonymous victim spoke out about Ford’s acting work.
“He genuinely thought he was going to be the next Brad Pitt,” she told STV News of Ford’s work on World War Z. “I think there were multiple stunt doubles but the way that he spun it, it looked like he was Brad Pitt’s one-and-only stunt double.”

She added, “I honestly believe that he’s a serial perpetrator and a master manipulator and there’s many more victims out there. I would say it’s taken me a long time to get over what happened and say that life is good now.”
Following Ford’s conviction, Scotland’s Procurator Fiscal for High Court Sexual Offending Katrina Parkes spoke out about the significance of the case.
“Luke Ford is a serial offender who demonstrated no respect for the consent of his victim,” she said in the press release. “He was prepared to use manipulation, force or threats to carry out his abuse. He showed disregard for the importance of consent between partners.”
Noting the importance of being able to convict him on the stealthing charge, Parkes added, “I hope that the many victims in this troubling case find some relief in Ford being held accountable for his offending. I commend them for their courage and strength. And I would urge any victim of similar offending to take confidence from Ford’s conviction.”
