The Latin Grammy Premiere ceremony taking place on Nov. 14 will be hosted by María Becerra, Juliana and Luísa Sonza, Variety can exclusively confirm. The event — which will be live streamed across all Latin Academy platforms ahead of the Latin Grammys — will also feature performances by nominees Fonseca, Ale Acosta and Valeria Castro, Alok, Leonel García, Grupo Niche, Draco Rosa, Rozalén, and Vikina and Deorro.
“I’m excited to kick off The Biggest Night in Latin Music with our Latin Grammy Premiere,” said Manuel Abud, CEO of the Latin Recording Academy. “With an amazing lineup of performers, we will reveal the winners in 50 of 58 Latin Grammy categories, showcasing the diversity of our community of creators throughout Ibero-America.”
Grecia Medina and Macarena Moreno will serve as co-executive producers of the event, working under the direction of the Latin Recording Academy’s production team led by Ayleen Figueras.
The Latin Recording Academy is communicating these public announcements through their Latin Grammys WhatsApp channel with additional original behind-the-scenes content.
Current nominees Anitta, Edgar Barrera, Becky G, Eladio Carrión, Kali Uchis, as well as previous nominees Pitbull and Reik, have been added as performers for the primetime awards show taking place in Miami.
Also on the lineup are Darumas, Emilia, Leonel García, Grupo Frontera, Danny Ocean, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Carlos Rivera, David Bisbal, Alejandro Fernández, Luis Fonsi, Juan Luis Guerra, Carín León, Elena Rose and Ela Taubert, as well as the 2024 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year, Carlos Vives.
