Final Fantasy is currently on a historic run. Its critically acclaimed remake trilogy of the beloved Final Fantasy 7 is coming to its epic conclusion, with the final entry releasing in 2027; the series is making a historic return to its pixel art roots with Resonance; Final Fantasy 14's release on the Nintendo Switch 2 ushered in an influx of new fans, breathing new life into the already immensely popular MMO. Suffice it to say, if you're a fan of Final Fantasy, there should be absolutely no shortage of exciting new releases on the horizon.
Joining the many upcoming Final Fantasy projects is a smaller, yet nevertheless exciting, release titled Till My Dawn Tears Flow. The excessively named release will be perfect for those who love everything Final Fantasy and wish to celebrate it in every conceivable way. It's designed with fans in mind, delivering a hopefully emotional and epic experience that will be a memorable addition to absolutely any Final Fantasy fanatic's collection.
One of the best things to happen to Final Fantasy as of late was the aforementioned, tremendously successful Switch 2 FFXIV launch. It rejuvenated the game with an abundance of fresh new faces, all of whom were joining a largely friendly player base eager to help. Its prevalence on a Nintendo platform ushered in the final stage in FFXIV's dominance of the MMO market, further increasing its reach and scope and almost certainly ushering in a new age for the legendary and utterly transformed experience.
Conveniently timed around the launch of Final Fantasy 14 on the Nintendo Switch 2 is a plethora of exciting merchandise and collectibles for the game. However, these aren't merely the typical trinkets one would expect, although those are certainly on the cards. Rather, these upcoming Final Fantasy 14 projects offer fans a lot of meaningful substance or unique experiences hard to obtain elsewhere. Chief among these is the aforementioned Till My Dawn Tears Flow, a brand-new album featuring all-new arrangements of Final Fantasy 14's excellent soundtrack.
The Till My Dawn Tears Flow album is available for purchase via the official Square Enix website for $25.99.
The Till My Dawn Tears Flow album features eight tracks from Final Fantasy XIV rearranged for the piano, as well as a download code for a video of the Bee My Honey performance at the FFXIV Anaheim fan festival in 2026. The songs come on a CD imported from Japan and will be released in North America in November 2026, just shortly after the Japanese release on October 14, 2026. A more specific release date has yet to be confirmed. Here are all eight tracks, as well as the song Promises to Keep from the album:
- 01. Lost in the Deep
- 02. Morrow’s Might & Magic
- 03. Roses of May (Dawntrail)
- 04. Crash in the Dark
- 05. Smile
- 06. Windswept Echoes
- 07. Promises to Keep
- 08. Bee My Honey
While this album may not be the major project some are likely hoping for, it does provide fans with yet another unique way of interacting with their favorite game. Final Fantasy's merchandise can be hit or miss, with some titles receiving little more than puzzle sets, while others get bespoke music boxes and unique statues. It's hard to argue that this collection of beautiful tracks from Final Fantasy 14 is a loss. At the very least, hopefully, when it launches in November, truly dedicated Final Fantasy fans will enjoy it.
