The upcoming RPG release in 2026 is called Lord of Mysteries. The MMORPG is based on the Lord of the Mysteries web series, which was serialized between 2018 and 2020. The story mixes elements of Victorian steampunk with cosmic horror, and the game will feature several classic RPG elements, like pathways, which are the equivalent of classes. The Victorian-era steampunk vibes are highly reminiscent of Clair Obscur and even a bit of the Dishonored series, both of which draw inspiration from the theme.

The new Lord of Mysteries RPG will allow you to pick one of 22 different pathways for your character, including some classic classes, like Warrior and Bard. The developer, SPARK NEXA, has confirmed that all the playable narrative content will be entirely accessible for free, as this is a free-to-play game. Nevertheless, as an MMO, there will be a monetization system revolving around cosmetics and other options, like a battle pass and progression boosts, in this Lord of the Mysteries adaptation.
