Ferne McCann has got candid about her relationship with fiancé Lorri Haines, as she admitted that the couple are 'not constantly upbeat and positive'.

The former TOWIE star, 34, and her partner, 33, share daughter Finty, 16 months, while Ferne is also mother to daughter Sunday, six, from a previous relationship and Lorri also has a son with a former partner.

Ferne admitted that juggling their blended families with their busy careers means that her and Lorri get less time alone together, but explained they were working on getting their spark back.

She confessed to OK! magazine: 'I think this is my first proper relationship and we are juggling so much with businesses and raising our children together; we're a blended family, with lots of different personalities. Don't get me wrong, we're not constantly upbeat and positive, but we're very much together and doing life together.

'When you've got multiple children, it's a lot. We're both busy working and it's like any household, it's about the moving parts. Sometimes we can be like passing ships if he's in the office and I'm working – it can be tough.'

Last year, the reality star admitted that she and Lorri sleep in separate bedrooms and even sought the help of an intimacy coach to get their romance back on track.

But Ferne confirmed that the couple are now 'back in the same bed' and have been 'getting the intimacy back' into their relationship.

She explained: 'You really have to prioritise it when you’ve got children, it’s easy for it to be bottom of the pile. We had a baby and are very busy. But now we prioritise intimacy, and communication is key. You get those rare moments where you can have quality time together.'

In a previous interview with Heat, Ferne had shared how her and Lorri's session with an intimacy coach had been 'really insightful'.

She recalled how they did a lot of non-sexual activities that were focused on helping them improve their communication as well as other skills that can be transferred to the bedroom.

Ferne insisted that most parents would agree that once a baby is born sex is out the window as it is no longer a priority.

She also cited her pets, business, and television show as reasons why she struggles to find the time and energy to be intimate with Lorri.

However, elsewhere in her latest OK interview, she teased that the couple might be open to expanding their brood even further.

Opening up on future plans as a blended family-of-five, Ferne said: 'I feel like I’m not done. But right now, I feel blessed. I just feel so happy with my girls and they’ve got such a lovely relationship – they’re already really close.'

It comes after she was forced to hit back at claims hat she'd parted ways with Lorri back in November, following reports they'd had 'one big blow out over something and nothing'.

Ferne detailed her dismay at the 'out of the blue' split rumours and insisted she and Lorri are stronger than ever.

She recalled: 'My heart sank – I even had family members messaging me and asking what had happened. But we are good. We feel like we have to justify ourselves sometimes because, you know, every couple has their ups and downs.'

Ferne went on to say that she found the speculation on social media difficult as she found herself focusing on the 'negative comments', but added that she does have a 'thick skin' after years of being in the industry.

She added that it could have been easy for her to feel 'anxious' about speculation but instead she opted to just 'park it' and 'move forward'.

Despite getting engaged three years ago, Ferne added that the pair were in no rush to get married as planning a wedding is a 'mammoth task' and she had other things to prioritize during this 'big year'.

With her Dancing On Ice stint coming up and other work in the pipeline, she confessed that she didn't think she could take the 'added stress' of planning a wedding in 2025, suggesting that they may tie the knot in 2026 instead.
