If you're anything like our editors, you're delighted by the resurgence of a nostalgic trend — especially if it's one that brings back joyful memories (see: our inaugural Feel-Good List). And when it comes to UGG, a brand that has managed to stay relevant in fashion for more than 25 years, you can sign us up for a styling session. After all, every single design offered is irresistibly comfortable, whether you opt for clogs, slippers, the classic boot, or a new, street-style forward silhouette like the Lowmel Sneaker. Not to mention, UGG has already cemented its status as celebrity-approved for 2026, with the likes of Charli XCX, Selena Gomez, Doechii, and more stars taking recent variations for a spin.

The brand tells Popsugar that its current bestsellers include the Adirondack Boot XXV ($250) for its après-ski vibes; the ankle-skimming Classic Micro Boot ($140), which I personally own; and the Classic Tall II Boot ($220), which was recently spotted on Bella Hadid and has sparked conversation on TikTok.

Our editors decided to choose pairs to reflect their personal style and build feel-good looks that are relevant to today's trend cycle, and, most importantly, solid reminders that something "old" can always be appreciated as new again.

"From my days asking for Fuggs as a 10-year-old to getting my first real, coveted pair of Classic Shorts when I was in middle school to upgrading to the very modern UGG Tazz II ($145) as a 31-year-old — wow, I've come a long way. Many of my friends now have the Tazz style, and I love the height of the slip-ons as well as their versatility. Living in San Francisco, I can wear these dressed up in all black to a dinner out with the gals or a brunch date with my partner. For this look, I opted for my favorite Rails workwear jeans, an asymmetrical Topshop sweater, and a casual Uniqlo cross-body. The UGGs are unexpected, sleek, and so comfy. My 10-year-old self would be proud." — Lena Felton, senior director of special projects

"I have to admit I was hesitant to embrace UGGs when I first discovered them in the early 2000s; I was still in my wearing-heels-every-day era and couldn't fathom rocking an oversize pair of flat boots just for comfort. One day, my best friend who worked at Nordstrom (in our local mall!) convinced me to try them on, and everything changed. They felt like pillows for my feet and I simply couldn't turn that down. Imagine my surprise and delight when I saw people styling them with skirts and dresses, proving fashion and function could live in harmony.

Now, more than 20 years later, I style the UGG Classic Short II ($190) like they're heels with my favorite pleated miniskirt and striped sweater from YanYan, an oversize DKNY fleece jacket, and my treasured Luar bag. As the 2000s style icons — from Beyoncé to Nicole Richie — proved, UGGs can and should be dressed up!" — Jessica Andrews, senior style director

"If I had to picture my perfect middle school outfit with UGGs, it would include a textured baby tee with a ruffle trim, the beloved Solow fold-over pants of yesteryear, and a North Face fleece. Plus braces. Do those count as an accessory? I used to love dragging my feet down the hallways — perhaps purposefully, to draw attention to my shoes — in the Classic Short Boot (I absolutely owned the Fugg version of them in baby blue, too).

Now, I think of the brand very differently — it's less of a status symbol and more of a quality footwear company that's withstood the test of time. But all it takes is one glimpse of the logo at the back of the heel to spark nostalgia, and that somehow makes me more excited to construct an outfit. The UGG Moxy Chelsea Boots ($170) have a utilitarian feel, so I love teaming them with boxy pieces like my Barbour, Levi's barrel jeans, Asos denim jacket, and Stand Oil Mushy bag. The result is an effortlessly rugged-chic look that I can play up with personal touches, like my Marc Jacobs oval sunglasses. It's a very different vibe nowadays, but I've realized one thing hasn't changed: my UGGs still feel like the security blanket of the whole outfit." — Sarah Wasilak, shopping director

"This outfit is nostalgic to me in the best way. Clogs were such a big part of my middle school wardrobe, so wearing them now just makes me smile a little. It feels like I'm revisiting that version of myself, just styled in a way that fits my life now. I threw them on with an oversize sweater, long coat, and my go-to baseball cap — nothing complicated, just pieces I always feel good in. I like that the UGG Otzo Clogs ($150) make the outfit feel relaxed and a little lived-in instead of too put together. They're the perfect winter-to-spring staple, and they definitely passed the walking test." — Haley Lyndes, shopping staff writer

"Growing up, I always loved seeing my friends with the Classic Boot, and actually don't know why I never started wearing UGGs until recently (lol). I feel like it was definitely a status thing if you wore a pair to school. It has been refreshing to see the brand's longevity through its expansion of silhouettes, like these UGG Lowmel Moccasin Sneakers ($150). They're the epitome of chic meets cozy — from the two-toned plaid laces to the sneaker-like footbed. Not to mention, the 10mm UGGplush™ inner makes me want to wear them 24/7. I can see myself wearing them even when spring starts, with some good denim or a plaid skirt for that preppy moment." — Naomi Parris, assistant shopping editor
