The first poster for Fear Street 4, titled Fear Street: Prom Queen, has been unveiled, confirming the release date of the Netflix horror sequel while teasing details for the movie. The streaming platform released the Fear Street trilogy in July 2021, three movies adapted from R.L. Stine's book series of the same name with an interconnected storyline. Stine later announced in January 2024 that the next book would be an adaptation of Prom Queen, the 15th book in the series. It was later revealed to be a standalone sequel to the original trilogy.

Now, Netflix has released the first poster for Fear Street: Prom Queen, confirming a 2025 release window for the upcoming horror sequel. The poster reveals the return of Shadyside High from the original trilogy, with a sign that reads "Senior Prom '88." However, the sign is splattered with blood, while an axe is sitting beside it, also drenched in crimson. While the original trilogy was directed by Leigh Janiak, who also co-wrote each film, Prom Queen will be directed by Matt Palmer. He will also serve as co-writer alongside Donald McLeary. The poster indicates a bloody, dark follow-up that could equal that of the original trilogy in tone and scares.

Fear Street: The Prom Queen is reviving an old horror trend that was perfect by a Stephen King movie in the 1970s, making it more exciting.
