Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Revenge Edition was revealed alongside the fighting game's next character, Duck King

While it's not as popular as Street Fighter 6 and now faces increased competition from the likes of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, SNK continues to support Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. It just revealed the release date of "the game's next DLC fighter and a new Revenge Edition that bundles all three seasons of the fighting game's post-launch content.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Revenge Edition will cost $49.99 and include the base game and the three currently available season passes for the game. These kinds of complete (or at least partially complete) editions are common for fighting games and go by many names. Typically, they make for the best post-launch entry points into fighting games that already have a lot of DLC.
If you pick up Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Revenge Edition, you will immediately have access to 30 different fighters and will get four more by the end of 2026. The Revenge Edition is coming alongside Duck King, a classic Fatal Fury character that wasn't in City of the Wolves until now. They launch on Aug. 27.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves was the first fighting game SNK launched after being bought by the Saudi Arabia Crown Prince-owned Misk Foundation, and it has encountered its fair share of controversy. Players didn't love that real-world people like Cristiano Ronaldo took up valuable roster spots in the fighting game. SNK also faced backlash for using generative AI in a trailer for the second season of City of the Wolves.
It's worth being aware of those controversies before deciding whether you want to pick up Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, any of its DLC, or this Revenge Edition. If you do decide to buy the Revenge Edition, it'll be available across PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
