Austin Butler and Tom Holland are teaming up for a high speed adventure on the big screen, and their fans couldn't be more excited.

Butler, 33,  who is starring in the new Darren Aronofsky thriller,  will get behind the wheel in American Speed.

The Elvis star and Holland, 28, will play real-life brothers in the drama based on the 1980s IMSA scandal, in which their characters and a number of race car drivers were charged with fueling their careers via drug smuggling, money laundering or tax evasion.

No date has been announced for the beginning of shooting, according to Deadline.

'It already has won with casting,' wrote one fan on the Screen Thrill News Instagram page.

'Hell yeah that’s interesting,' commented another.

Another fan had high praise for the actors' chameleon-like skills. 'They don't give drug smuggler vibes but they can act so this will work. Hope they add some comedy to it also!'

One fan gave a thumbs up to the casting say the two heartthrobs 'do actually look like brothers.'

Butler is currently trying his hand at being a criminal in Caught Stealing, which is currently being shot in New York City.

He plays a burned-out former baseball player who finds himself embroiled in a dangerous struggle for survival  when he gets unexpectedly involved with members of the criminal underbelly of 1990s New York City.

The project features Hollywood heavies such as Liev Schreiber, Vincent D'Onofrio and Zoë Kravitz.

Holland recently announced his participation in the latest entry into the Spider-Man franchise.

He was also scheduled to work with Oscar winner Matt Damon in Christopher Nolan's next film, which will be directed by Christopher Nolan.

The now-sober actor has also launched his own non-alcoholic beer, BERO.

'I really felt like this was a market that I could exist in," Holland said. "I felt really passionate about being sober, promoting a healthier lifestyle, making a difference and helping people,' he told Food & Wine magazine. 'My first year of sobriety would have been much easier had I had a product like Bero,' he explained.

The drink has been added to many establishments in the Big Apple, and Holland has big plans for his new brew. 'I hope that one day it's on tap in every pub across the country, and then hopefully the world,' he told the outlet.

'Sharing a draft pint is a really special thing. I remember sharing my first draft pint with my dad. That would be a really special thing to be able to do with Bero.'
