Macaulay Culkin returned to acting for a minor cameo in Fallout season 2, but the finale suggests his time on the show isn't over yet. Culkin rose to fame as a child actor thanks to roles in major feature films like Home Alone and Richie Rich, which skyrocketed him to global fame before he started to grow facial hair.

However, as an adult, Culkin appears to be much more laid-back when it comes to taking on roles and refers to himself as being perpetually retired, only returning to acting when he finds a role that excites him. So, when he appeared in Fallout season 2, it was a pleasant surprise, but as of the finale, it appears that Culkin isn't quite finished with the popular video game-adapted series just yet.

Macaulay Culkin Appeared In Fallout Season 2 As A Legion Soldier

As Lucy MacLean and The Ghoul travel through the Wasteland in season 2, they encounter a group of survivors who have chosen to revert to a Romanesque style of living. Appointing a leader whom they refer to as Caesar, though mispronounced, and adhering to ancient laws that existed during the reign of the Roman Empire.

Among this group, Macaulay Culkin appears as a soldier among one-half of the Roman group. Culkin gets several lines as this feature extra, and he performs his part spectacularly, adding humor and fun to the setting. However, when Lucy and The Ghoul left the legions warring between their two factions, it seemed as though that would be the end of Culkin's story in Fallout.

Macaulay Culkin Is Now Caeser As Of The Fallout Season 2 Finale

Caesar's Legion in Fallout season 2

In the Fallout season 2 finale, the Legion plays a pivotal role in the events of the episode as they appear at the start and end of the episode. In the first scene, it is revealed that Culkin and another Roman soldier have successfully made it to the tent where the original Caesar left instructions about who would take over after his death.

For a long time, the Legion had split in two as the leadership was disputed, and neither side would allow the other to get to the note. However, when Culkin finds the note, he learns that there was no successor appointed. In response, he kills the only other witness to the notes' contents, steals the crown for himself, and declares himself the new Caesar.

The Legion Are Ready To Take Over New Vegas In Season 3

Once Culkin claims control of the Legion, he directs them to march towards New Vegas, where they will take over and claim the land for themselves. At the end of Fallout season 2, episode 8, the Legion approaches the city of Freeside, located on the old Vegas strip, ready to take over by whatever means necessary.

However, just before the legion arrived, the New California Republic arrived to help eradicate the Deathclaw pack that Maximus bravely fought back. Obviously, the NCR uses modern weapons, while Culkin's army has clung to swordplay and metal armor. Whatever the outcome of this conflict, Macaulay Culkin is likely to return in Fallout season 3 to finish what he started and lead his army into their greatest battle yet.
