Eva Longoria, 51, gives raunchy display in bikini and sheer top as she packs on PDA with husband José Bastón

Eva Longoria turned up the heat in one of her most daring outfits yet during a sultry beach day with her husband José Bastón on Friday in Marbella, Spain.

The 51-year-old Desperate Housewives star sizzled in a tiny string bikini paired with a barely-there black cover-up that looked more like a sheer shirt than a traditional beachwear piece.

With almost everything on display, the actress couldn’t keep her hands off her handsome husband as they stayed close, sharing multiple passionate kisses throughout their day in the sun.

José, looking effortlessly stylish, kept it casual in a long-sleeved shirt and dark shorts as he lovingly held hands with his stunning wife.

The couple, who will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary next month, spent the afternoon lounging under the sun, enjoying some quality time before heading to a beach bar for a relaxed lunch.

This outing marks a special moment for the couple, who, along with their son Santiago, seven, relocated to Spain in 2023 as they embrace their new life in the sunny Mediterranean.

The move had sparked rumors, especially following Donald Trump's 2024 election victory. 

Speculation swirled that Eva had fled the U.S. due to the political climate, especially after her viral comments referring to the country as a 'dystopian' place.

However, Eva’s decision to relocate to Marbella actually came long before Trump’s win. 

Back in April 2024, a source revealed to Daily Mail that the family’s move was more about shielding Santiago from the 'Hollywood cycle' and giving him a more grounded upbringing in Europe.

In a candid interview published shortly after the 2024 U.S. elections, Eva opened up about her reasons for leaving California behind, admitting that the 'vibe' in the state had begun to shift well before the pandemic. 

The actress explained that her years spent in Los Angeles had left her feeling increasingly disillusioned.

She told Marie Claire, 'I’ve lived my whole adult life in LA, but it just started to feel different before COVID hit. Whether it’s the homelessness or the taxes, not that I want to trash California – it just feels like that chapter in my life is over.'

Eva went on to add, 'I’m lucky enough to escape, but most Americans don’t have that luxury. They’re stuck in this dystopian country, and my heart aches for them.'

Her candid comments, which painted a grim picture of life in the U.S., ignited a firestorm of speculation on social media. 

Some believed her move was a direct response to the political shifts, but Eva insists it was about finding peace in a new environment for her family.

However, Eva had purchased her Marbella house in 2023, and by April 2024, a source had already confirmed to Daily Mail that she and José were leaving America for good.

'They want to raise their son in a place where he will be surrounded by nature and beauty, not sucked into the whole Hollywood cycle,' the insider explained. 

'They are moving to their home in Spain full-time and are both so excited about it. She’s had everything she wanted in Hollywood.'

Despite their clear intentions, the public perception that Eva had fled the U.S. due to a second Trump presidency continued to linger. 

As rumors swirled, Eva found herself needing to set the record straight.

In an attempt to clarify things, Eva reached out to her friend, The View host Ana Navarro, while Ana was recording her The View: Behind the Table podcast. 

When Eva realized their conversation would be aired, she quickly asked Ana to make a public statement. 'Will you please let them know I didn’t move out of Spain because of Trump?' Eva said. 'I’ve been in Europe working for almost three years.' 

This comes after Eva's former Desperate Housewives co-star, Jesse Metcalfe, opened up about why his time on the iconic series was shorter than expected.

The 47-year-old actor appeared as a guest on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, where he reflected on the early days of his career.

'I was fired from Desperate Housewives,' he confessed to host Amanda Hirsch, talking about his breakout role. 'After the first season, they didn’t really know where else to take my storyline.'

Metcalfe played John Rowland, the gardener who had a sizzling affair with Eva’s character, Gabrielle Solis.

He recalled how creator Marc Cherry delivered the bad news, saying, 'This isn’t Desperate House Gardeners, this is Desperate Housewives, so unfortunately, you're not going to be a series regular moving forward on the show.'

Despite the setback, Metcalfe wasn’t bothered. 

'Instead, they brought me back intermittently. At that time, I had been offered [the lead role in] John Tucker Must Die from 20th Century Fox, so I was like, hey, cool, no big deal. I’m going to be a movie star,' he laughed, clearly unbothered by the career shift.
