‘Entertainment Tonight’ Names Emily Curl As New York-Based Correspondent

EXCLUSIVE: We’ll be seeing a new face on Entertainment Tonight. The syndicated entertainment newsmagazine has brought on Emily Curl as a New York–based correspondent. She begins her new role today, March 9. 

Curl joins ET’s on‑air team led by co-hosts Nischelle Turner and Kevin Frazier, alongside correspondents Denny Directo and Cassie DiLaura. 

Curl is an established host and entertainment reporter having covered leading talent across film, television, and music. Prior to joining Entertainment Tonight, Curl served as Digital Host at iHeartRadio, where she conducted interviews with top global artists including Celine Dion, Shakira, and emerging stars such as Doechii and Tate McRae. 

In addition to her work at iHeartRadio, Curl has served as a correspondent for E! News, covering major industry events including the Time 100 Gala, the Tony Awards, the VMAs, and the SNL 50th anniversary special. Throughout her career, she has interviewed leading industry figures including Jennifer Aniston, Hugh Jackman, Michael B. Jordan, Scarlett Johansson, and Cynthia Erivo. 

Curl began her career at Refinery29 and has since moderated panels, emceed live events, and collaborated with global brands such as Chanel and Maybelline. A Georgia native and graduate of the University of Georgia, she was recognized as one of Georgia’s 40 Under 40 for her professional achievements. 

Currently in its 45th season, ET averages 2.86 million total viewers, according to Nielsen, consistently ranking as the No. 1 syndicated entertainment news show on TV with nine Emmy wins. Entertainment Tonight is produced and distributed by CBS Media Ventures. Erin Johnson serves as executive producer with Whitney Wallace and Leslie Kawaguchi as co-executive producers.
