Eminem and Kim Scott's daughter is 'worried' for her mother after DUI arrests and suicide attempt

Hailie Jade Mathers, the daughter of Eminem and his ex-wife Kim Scott, is said to be anxious for her mother after the past turbulent months.

Scott pled no contest in May to a DUI charge stemming from an earlier car crash, and days later she was arrested for DUI yet again.

The 51-year-old was sent to jail this Friday after a judge rescinded her bond, which prosecutors accuse her of having violated multiple times, according to CBS. 

Last month, Scott - who was married to Eminem twice - was rushed to the hospital after reportedly attempting suicide, as indicated in dispatch audio obtained by TMZ.

'Hailie has never stopped loving her mom no matter what. She’s been worried about Kim and just wants to see her healthy again,' a source told Page Six.

'Their relationship has definitely had its ups and downs over the years, but Hailie has always tried not to judge her. She knows her mom has faced a lot over the years.'

The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Hailie and Eminem for comment.

According to the insider, Scott's 'latest health scare was really hard on' her 30-year-old daughter, who is now a podcaster. 'Any time something happens with her mom, it’s emotional because she never wants to get that kind of news.'

Hailie married her college sweetheart Evan McClintock in 2024 and gave birth to their son Elliot last March, a development that is said to have had an impact on the way she views her connection to her own mother.

'Becoming a wife and a mom herself has given Hailie an even greater appreciation for how complicated family relationships can be,' said the source.

'Hailie wants to be there for her mom in whatever way she can while also protecting the life she’s built with her own family.' 

When Scott, 51, was sent to jail this Friday, the judge left the door open for her to secure her release by entering inpatient treatment.

The Macomb County Prosecutor's Office in Michigan accused her of multiple bond violations, one of which was said to involve her alcohol tether, which is an ankle bracelet that monitors the wearer's intake of drink.

Weeks ago, harrowing emergency dispatch audio offered an account of the events leading up to Scott's hospitalization after she attempted to take her own life.

'Caller says aunt cut her wrist and she’s bleeding. She’s currently sitting on the couch listening to music. 

'The knife is in her hand, and she will not give it to the caller. Kim Mathers. She’s unconscious now. The caller was able to remove it,' a dispatcher told emergency responders in an audio clip obtained by TMZ. 

Scott was transported to a nearby medical center after Chesterfield Police Department and EMS workers responded to a call at her Michigan home.

An emergency call had been placed around 8pm regarding an individual who was 'unconscious' or 'fainting,' according to a Chesterfield Fire/EMS report obtained by TMZ. 

Scott had suffered from a 'hemorrhage/laceration,' according to the report. 

She could be seen leaving her residence on a gurney before being placed in the back of a waiting ambulance that took her to McLaren Macomb Hospital for treatment.

Back in May, Scott had been arrested after allegedly hitting a parked car in the 21 Mile Zone near Detroit around 9:20pm, Chesterfield Township PD Detective Sergeant Joseph Feld had confirmed to TMZ.

Scott missed court hearings and consequently had bench warrants taken out on her in June, only for them to be revoked the following day once she was arraigned.

The bond for the ex-wife of the rapper, who has mentioned her in numerous songs, was set at $10,000, according to Page Six. 

Chesterfield Township Police Department Detective Sgt. Joseph Feld told TMZ in May that Scott drove her vehicle into another car in Detroit.

Police took Scott into custody and booked her on a suspected DUI charge at Macomb County Jail in Mt. Clemens, Michigan the following morning.

In a jail snap obtained by The Daily Mail, an unrecognizable Scott crossed her arms and posed, while clad in a black hoodie. 

Her face looked notably swollen after she was seen in her previous mugshot with two black eyes.

The May arrest came a matter of days after Scott pleaded no contest in court in connection with an incident on February 16. She was accused of smashing her white Range Rover into a parked Dodge Ram.

In February, Parker, Scott's son, was also in the vehicle with three of his friends to go shopping, according to TMZ. 

Officials said the collision pushed the truck 50 feet from where it was parked, according to Click on Detroit.

Scott's life was once a magnet for controversy, particularly during her romances with Eminem, to whom she got married twice. 

The two were introduced in 1987 and began dating years later, before tying the knot in 1999.

The marriage was short-lived, and the two divorced in 2001, but they later reunited and remarried in 2006, only to split again later that year. 

In 1995, Scott and Eminem welcomed their daughter, Hailie.

Scott is also the mother of daughter Hailie Jade, 30, with the rapper whose real name is Marshall Mathers III.

She was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to stop or identify after causing property damage.

She later had her son Parker with another partner, and she and her then-boyfriend, Eric Hartter, welcomed their child Stevie Laine Scott in 2002, between her relationships with Eminem.

However, the rapper later adopted Stevie in 2005 after he and Scott reunited. Hartter died in 2019.

Eminem also adopted Alaina Marie Scott, 32, who was the daughter of his ex-wife's sister Dawn Scott.

He adopted her in the early 2000s, and Scott's sister, who had battled drug addiction for years, died in 2016.
