Ellie Goulding has returned to the gym and to undergoing skincare treatments ahead of releasing new music - just three weeks after giving birth.

Earlier this month, the songstress, 39, who is mother to son Arthur, four, with ex-husband Caspar Jopling, revealed she has welcomed her second child, a baby girl and her first with boyfriend Beau Minniear on 6 March.

She has since taken to social media to detail her postpartum activities, with a black and white video showing her squatting in the gym while using weights, while she added the caption: 'Back to it all over again'.

Another post featured the star using an LED neck mask, as she got herself ready to release her new album, her first since 2023’s Higher Than Heaven and the follow-up to last year's single Destiny, which stormed the charts.

The album was initially pegged for release later in the year, however insiders revealed she had moved the release forward to coincide with her baby's arrival, meaning the album could be out before she took time off with her baby.'

Insiders told The Sun: 'By moving the release date forward, Ellie can get the record out to her fans before having a break with the baby. She has worked so hard on this record and it shows such a different side to her creatively.

Ellie's selfies gave an insight into her navigation of the newborn trenches, with her skincare routine showcasing her beauty regimen.

In true beauty mode, Ellie shared a selfie showing her using a sheet mask and a £280 FAQ™ 211 LED Neck & Décolleté Mask.

The mask is listed as: 'A flexible, silicone, wearable device designed to combat aging on the chest and neck, featuring 761 light points with 8 different light wavelengths'.

Her return to the gym comes as no surprise, given her famous love of working out and her incredibly ripped physique.

On 10 March, Ellie announced her daughter's arrival on Instagram, writing: On Friday, I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. We are totally obsessed with her...

'It was fitting that I spent International Women's Day with her and the incredible female team at St Mary's, who provided me and my baby with extraordinary care and kindness.'

Earlier this month, the songstress, 39, who is mother to son Arthur, four, with ex-husband Caspar Jopling, revealed she has welcomed her second child, a baby girl and her first with boyfriend Beau Minniear on 6 March

'I will always be in awe of midwives. This addition to my family fills me with so much joy, especially as Arthur is so happy to become a big brother to this little angel.'

She also shared a photo of a cake decorated with the words 'welcome baby sister'.

Her return to normality after her daughter's birth, comes ahead of the imminent release of her eagerly-anticipated sixth studio album.

Ellie has spoken about the fact that her new record is 'a divorce album', having penned a number of the tracks at the time of her split from Caspar in 2024.

Ellie went public with her relationship with Beau in September 2025 (pictured in February)

Ellie already shares four-year-old son Arthur with ex-husband Caspar Jopling; pictured together in June 2021

She said last year: 'When I married my ex-husband, I thought it was for life. That will never go away and that will always stay with me. There are some songs that are necessary for me to acknowledge that time in my life and to be respectful of it...

'Then there were some songs that were extremely reactionary and sad that I felt were good to do in the moment but don’t serve me long-term.'

Elaborating on the idea of a 'divorce album', she said: 'I asked my friends about this. I sent them a folder of the songs and was like, “What do you guys think?” I trust my friends, and they’re real music lovers...

'One person said, "Wow, this is the divorce album.” And then most of the others were like, "This just sounds like you’re a new woman. It sounds like growing and rediscovery. It doesn’t feel like divorce.” I
