Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) returns for 2026. With that, the popular Chicago-based fan convention will be bringing in guests from beloved franchises across different genres. Collider is thrilled to exclusively reveal one of their biggest guests: Emmy-nominated actress Elizabeth Olsen, best known for her role as Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Olsen most recently starred in the film Eternity, opposite Miles Teller and Callum Turner. The convention takes place March 27 through 29, and Olsen will be appearing at the convention on March 28 and 29 for Photo Ops, Autographs, and a panel. The convention will once again return to McCormick Place for "the best of pop culture with a must-see lineup of special guests, panelists, exhibitors, and more."
Tickets are now on sale to the general public. There are multi-day and single-day pass options available. There are also options such as the C2E2 Superfan Membership. This will also give the ticket holder digital access to the event. According to C2E2 officials, members receive premium access to purchase Select Autographing sessions, Photo Ops, and exclusive merchandise throughout the year, as well as onsite perks.
What Is Elizabeth Olsen Best Known For?
Elizabeth Olsen's most widely known acting role is her time as Wanda Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Olsen's first full appearance (outside of one of Marvel's famous post-credit scenes) was in the 2015 film Avengers: Age of Ultron. After the death of Wanda's twin Pietro (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), Wanda attempts to assimilate with the Avengers, but with powers far beyond her comprehension, she's often seen as a volatile liability. Eventually, after spending time on the run, being forced to kill the love of her life (Vision, played by Paul Bettany), Wanda understandably... breaks.
Using her untapped chaos magic, she's overcome with grief and creates a fictional version of Westview, New Jersey. It phases through decades of television as she continues to hide in the Marvel television series WandaVision (2021). With her abilities amplified by the Mind Stone, and after a face-off with Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), Wanda fully embraces the identity of the Scarlet Witch. After this, she's seen for the next and final time in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, facing off against Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange. Her grief transformed beyond unknowingly creating a hex, to bending reality to her will to find her children. When that's not possible, she causes a cave in, destroying herself, to prevent any more chaos from being wrought.
Tickets are on sale now for C2E2. Stay with Collider for the latest updates.
