HBO has dropped the official trailer for DTF St. Louis, HBO’s forthcoming original limited series from Steven Conrad (Patriot), along with its release date. Starring Jason Bateman, David Harbour and Linda Cardellini, the limited series kicks off Sunday, March 1 on HBO and streaming on HBO Max.
DTF St Louis revolves around a love triangle between three adults experiencing middle-age malaise that leads to one of them ending up dead. (For those not-in-the-know DTF stands for “Down To F***).
The trailer opens with a shot of a crime scene and Floyd’s (Harbour) dead body. We learn Clark (Bateman) has been having an affair with Floyd’s wife Carol (Cardellini) and Clark introduces Floyd to the DTF St Louis app.
“You meet these people so you can…spice it,” says Clark. “Spice up your life.”
At one point, Clark shares a sexual fantasy with Carol: “I would like for you to go about your business — do tasks on your phone — while you sit on my face.”
