Drew Barrymore shared a sweet tribute to her BFF Cameron Diaz while also unveiling the secret to their decades-long friendship.
The 51-year-old actress, whose stunning $4.9 million New York home finally found a buyer, jumped to her main Instagram page on Wednesday as she reflected on their close bond.
Barrymore and Diaz struck up a friendship years earlier when they were teens and also worked together on the film Charlie's Angels (2000) as well as the 2003 sequel.
The star uploaded a series of selfies in the Instagram carousel, with one including the text, 'Cameron and I have been best friends since we were teenagers.'
Another slide showed the pair flashing cheerful smiles towards the camera while posing indoors.
Barrymore also typed out, 'She's been there for me in good and bad times.'

Lastly, the Hollywood actress included another snap of the pair while adding, 'That's my why.'
And in the caption of the post, Barrymore penned to her followers: 'Who has been there for you? Let's show people the love they deserve!! Hey @camerondiaz, I love you.'
Over the years, the two stars have previously reflected on their friendship publicly and on social media.
Back in April, Diaz had been a guest on Barrymore's talk show as the Ever After actress candidly expressed, 'I don't know how my friends haven't given up on me eight different times.
'I really don't. I'm so - in fact it's what inspires me to be my best.'
Diaz interrupted to say, 'Because you are a great friend. You're a great friend back. It's reciprocated.'
The close pals then exchanged an embrace as the live audience erupted into cheers and applause.
Last year, Diaz also shared a sweet birthday tribute to Barrymore in celebration of her 50th birthday at the time.

The video message was played during an episode of her talk show which showed Diaz saying, 'Happy birthday Poops!' referring to Barrymore's nickname, and added she has '37 years of actual data that I have stored in this brain.'
'The thousands of lives that we have lived together. All of the beautiful moments that I can pull from my memory of us just laughing and living and loving in the deepest way. And that is truly - I have felt the privilege.'
The Mask actress added, 'I have known the privilege of feeling that from you for 37 years, and I have to say that I have always been in awe of your ability to stay true to yourself and your authenticity and your resilience.
'And you've just been the same person in that authenticity for the last 37 years. Giving so much love, light. You are thoughtful and compassionate and poetic and so dang smart.'
Cameron continued, 'It is just unbelievable. I am so privileged to know you. And by the way, 50 years. This is the half a century mark. It's - you're just starting. You're just getting started. And I am so proud of you.
'I'm so excited about where you're getting to jump off from at this point in your life because it's exactly where you should be.'
She concluded with, 'And I'm very excited for you and I love you and I cannot wait to celebrate you very soon. I'll see you soon Poopoo.'
And while taking part in an Instagram Live cooking session back in 2021, the stars gave further insight into their friendship.

After meeting as teenagers, Barrymore and Diaz later had the chance to work together on the Charlie's Angels remake in 2000 alongside Lucy Liu and Bill Murray.
The stars later reprised their roles in the 2003 sequel titled Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
Earlier this year in February, it was revealed that Barrymore has been attached to an upcoming Charlie's Angels project through her Flower Films production company.
The script is slated to be penned by Pete Chiarelli, who is known for Crazy Rich Asians screenplay, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Diaz has also slowly been stepping back into Hollywood by recently starring in films such as Back In Action (2025) and Outcome (2026).
She reached another special milestone as both she and her husband Benji Madden announced last month that they welcomed their third child together, a baby boy named Nautas.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2015, are also parents to Raddix, six, and Cardinal, two.
