Demi Moore, 63, covers up thinner-than-ever frame in oversized look after sparking concern

Demi Moore covered her thinner-than-ever frame as she made an appearance at SXSW this week.

The 63-year-old actress – who has been hit with Ozempic rumors – wore an oversized, navy blue, pinstripe pantsuit, which swathed her petite figure.

She layered a lighter blue button-up shirt under her blazer, adding a stylish bolero tie for a Western-inspired touch.

Moore joined Naomi Ackie, Eiza Gonzalez, Poppy Liu, and Taylour Paige on stage for a live recording of Keke Palmer's podcast Baby, This is Keke Palmer.

She has been promoting her new film I Love Boosters! at the annual film and TV festival in Austin, Texas.

The upcoming movie stars Palmer as the head of a ring of shoplifters who target the boutiques of an edgy designer played by Moore.

It's named after a 2006 song by The Coup, Boots Riley's Oakland-formed hip-hop group.

'A booster's a person who jacks from the retail and sells it in the hood for a dirt cheap resale,' the song explains.

Moore's wiry figure at the Actor Awards earlier this month sent fans spiraling into speculation online, with one asking the AI device Grok: 'Is she on Ozempic?'

Another said: 'Good grief, is all of Hollywood on Ozempic?' as others opined that she was 'too skinny.'

One person teased, 'Food must be very expensive in LA,' while another teased, 'Is she actually on the substance?'

The Substance was the actress's buzzy 2024 body horror movie in which she starred as an aging actress who creates a younger version of herself (Margaret Qualley) by taking an illegal drug, with the two bodies having to switch consciousness every week.

Moore earned a Best Actress Oscar nomination for the role, and was famously stoic at the ceremony when she lost to Mikey Madison for her role as a New York City escort in Anora. 

A source later told Page Six that the Ghost actress took the loss 'very hard' and could not 'help but feel heartbroken.'

Moore had been 'hopeful' stepping into the awards show but struggled with the loss 'because she felt like it was finally her chance to take home an Academy Award.'

However, she was still 'thrilled for Mikey' as well as all the other nominees.

In an April 2025 interview with Time magazine, Moore opened up about being defeated.

'The physical, human part that has ego, of course, has disappointment,' she told the outlet. 'It certainly would have been wonderful to [win].'

She shared, 'I really had the pleasure of getting to know Mikey Madison and think that she did an incredible performance.'

Moore reflected, 'And really, it's an odd thing for there to be a competition anyway. But if I had won, it would've been a completion to what had started.'
