Dell's Alienware AW3423DWF QD (Quantum Dot) OLED monitor features an impressive 3440 x 1440 WQHD resolution QD-OLED screen with an 165Hz refresh rate, and almost non-existent response time. This monitor was an easy pick for an Editor's Choice award and scored 5 stars in our review of the AW3423DWF with no discernible cons to this truly impressive gaming monitor.

The Alienware AW3423DWF sports a ridiculously fast 0.1 ms response time, and even though it already has a fast refresh rate of 165Hz, in use, the screen feels even smoother thanks to incredible motion smoothing for rapid movement and gameplay. The Quantum Dot technology used in the AW3423DWF adds a light-emitting substance printed on a layer of film that can be placed in front of an OLED array and emit its own colors when pixels are excited by light energy, producing an amazing color response and gamut.

In our testing, the AW3423DWF outperformed its peers in input lag tests. We measured absolute input lag at just 27 ms, putting it at the head of the class. The responsiveness of the QD-OLED panel, combined with stunning performance in both SDR and HDR content, helps the AW3423DWF to perform exceptionally out of the box without any calibration.

The Alienware AW3423DWF also supports AMD FreeSync Pro and uses an automated panel maintenance feature that refreshes the pixels to avoid permanent burn-in damage to keep the monitor in tip-top condition after long gaming sessions.

For connectivity, you'll find two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one HDMI 2.0 port to meet your video needs. Additionally, Alienware includes a USB 3.2 hub with four downstream ports. The AW3423DWF does not have built-in speakers, but it does feature a 3.5mm headphone jack for your convenience.
