Death Note L Cosplay Shows How An Anime Accurate Version Of The Awkward Hero Could Work In Live Action

1 week ago 7

Death Note's L Lawliet is not just an iconic, easily recognizable character, he can also be considered the greatest detective of all time. Although he was not the one to officially catch Light Yagami, his work paved the way for his successor, Near, to crack the case easily. L Lawliet's deductive skills, slightly awkward but lovable demeanor, passion for cake and sweets of all kinds, and other distinctive personality quirks make him a hero worth adoring.

@name_akaradej has cosplayed the experienced investigator to absolute perfection. They are wearing L Lawliet's simple everyday outfit: a white long sleeve shirt and black jeans. This outfit is comfortable and laid-back, allowing L to conduct his research into various cases with ease. Their hair is black and slightly messy, matching their thick black eyebrows, and they have dark circles painted under their eyes with makeup. It is not uncommon for L to stay up all night working on a case without sleeping a wink. He did not rest much during the Kira investigation, explaining the development of these pronounced undereye bags.

L Lawliet’s Unique Personality Quirks Appear in This Death Note Cosplay

@name_akaradej has also utilized white makeup to make their face extremely pale like L's. Since the detective rarely goes outside, spending all of his time on work, his complexion is incredibly pale. The cosplayer poses with one finger against the side of their lips, since L often poses this way when he is thinking deeply about some problem. They are also sitting in his unique, signature pose. Even in chairs, L sits crouched with his legs folded up because he believes that this position allows him to think more clearly and use his full brain capacity when analyzing evidence during cases.

His Analytical Skills Are Truly Unmatched and His Unusual Methods Allow Him To Achieve Success

In the final cosplay image, L is taking a bite of a cracker. In the series, L was almost always eating, snacking on cakes and other sweets to give him energy through the sugar. L's multitude of intriguing methods, like eating sugar and sitting in an uncomfortable looking pose, clearly worked out for him, since he discovered Light Yagami's true identity as Kira before anyone else could, although he did not survive long enough to bring the serial killer to justice himself.
