Since 2019, Kevin Erdmann has been one of Screen Rant's Senior Staff Writers, covering all kinds of Superhero and Star Wars media with Easter egg breakdowns, theory pieces, breaking news, and more. A huge Star Wars & MCU fan, Kevin also loves Batman (because he's Batman), but could talk for hours about why Nightwing is DC's greatest hero.

With 8 years of total experience covering entertainment and pop culture, Kevin has gotten the chance to interview top creatives and talent, and has also attended major media events like Disney's D23 convention.

Majoring in Cinema Studies with a minor in Comics and Cartoon Studies from the UofO, Kevin lives in Oregon with his wonderful wife, adorable dog, and sinister cat who is no doubt currently plotting his demise.

Warning! This post contains a preview for DC K.O. #4One of DC’s biggest crossovers is setting up a major battle between its most important heroes. As seen in the pages of DC K.O., various heroes and villains have been battling it out (and we're about to witness its final rounds).

As seen in the new preview for DC K.O. #4, the penultimate round of the King Omega tournament is about to begin. However, some major upsets are on the way, resulting in what will likely be a major clash between two DC Trinities (and an even bigger final round to come).

The DC Trinity Will Soon Fight The Absolute Universe's DC Trinity

Currently, The Final Four of DC's King Omega tournament are Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, and Joker. As was teased in the previous issue, the Final Four will be pitted against the Absolute Universe versions of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman, as well as a Darkseid-corrupted Booster Gold.

Now, the new preview for DC K.O. #4 sees Joker deciding to switch sides just for the heck of it, forfeiting his chance at major cosmic power as he already got to kill Batman in the tournament's first round.

While the preview makes it seem as though Superman, Wonder Woman, and Luthor are now fairly outmatched, we do know from the Knightfight tie-in series that Batman survived his various trials the Heart of Apokolips had put him through, thereby allowing The Dark Knight to reenter the tournament's final two rounds.

Batman Returning in DC KO Tournament

This means that the full issue will indeed see the entire DC Trinity reunited to fight their Absolute Universe counterparts. While these Absolute Trinity heroes are admittedly copies manifested by the Heart, the new preview does seem to confirm that their power levels are just as strong.

If The DC Trinity Wins...They'll Have To Fight Each Other

It's also worth mentioning that winning this Trinity vs Trinity battle won’t end the conflict. After all, there's still DC K.O. #5 to think about as the true reckoning, where one champion must emerge with power rivaling Darkseid.

Depending on how DC K.O. #4 goes, it's quite likely that the Trinity will end up having to fight each other after fighting their dark counterparts. As such, it's going to be very exciting to see which heroes (or villains) move on following this upcoming DC Comics issue.

DC K.O. #4 releases on February 11th from DC Comics.
