With 95% on the Popcornmeter, Born Again season 2 has not only surpassed the audience score for season 1, but also the ratings that Netflix's Daredevil show had for all three seasons. As users are still submitting their ratings for the new season, the Rotten Tomatoes score is a changing subject, as the number could get higher or even decrease.

Why Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Is Received Well By Audiences

From the brilliance of Charlie Cox's Daredevil to Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin, these characters and the story of the two rivals have been highly beloved since their debut in 2015, which is why it was a massive deal to see them back in the MCU timeline in 2021. Following the announcement that Daredevil: Born Again was happening, no one was prepared for the creative overhaul that would follow the series, hence the result of season 1.

With the response from Daredevil: Born Again season 2 reviews and reactions, it's becoming clear that many are on board with the creative team's vision this season. This marks the first proper season for showrunner Dario Scardapane, who didn't have to try to merge two different projects into one, and actually let this serve as a more organic product.

What made viewers fall in love with this take on Daredevil and Kingpin was the Netflix series, which is why it was always shocking that Marvel Studios was trying to stay away from it when developing Daredevil: Born Again. This season, they are also leaning more into The Defenders' side of the MCU, as Jessica Jones will be back in the coming weeks, as Krysten Ritter reprises her role.

From Daredevil: Born Again season 2, episode 1, alone, the show feels more consistent to audience members, hence the strong Rotten Tomatoes score. That is also what will make the coming weeks fascinating to follow, as the premiere was just the start of what is to come for the Devil of Hell's Kitchen.
