Daredevil: Born Again Nearing A Marvel Disney+ Record As Season 3 Filming Takes Shape

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 will be the next Marvel Cinematic Universe show for Disney+, but work is already underway on the following season. Matt Murdock's war with Mayor Fisk will take the spotlight this March, but with another season already greenlit, the story is far from over.

Backstage is reporting that filming is set to start on Daredevil: Born Again season 3 on March 6, with the working title "Out The Kitchen," which has been used for production on seasons 1 and 2. Casting is currently underway for background/extra roles.

According to Backstage, production is looking to top tap actors for "Criminal Gang Members," "Dangerous Criminals," and "Intimidating Officers." With filming starting on March 6, it will be three weeks before Daredevil: Born Again season 2 starts its run on Disney+ later that month.

Daredevil: Born Again will set a new record for Marvel Studios as it will be the first live-action series in the MCU timeline under the Disney+ era to reach three seasons. Loki is the only other live-action show in The Multiverse Saga to have lasted more than one season.

Details on Daredevil: Born Again season 3 have yet to be revealed, as season 2 will give a better idea of what is in store for the show when it returns next year. Whether there will be a season 4 of the MCU drama has yet to be determined.

One of the biggest hopes for Daredevil: Born Again is getting a full reunion of The Defenders, especially as Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones will be back in season 3. Mike Colter's Luke Cage could be someone who shows up in the next season, as the actor recently teased that there are talks taking place about him reprising the role somewhere in the MCU.

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is slated to premiere on Tuesday, March 24, on Disney+. A premiere date for season 3 has yet to be set, but is expected to be sometime in 2027.
