Crimson Desert is chock-full of puzzles ranging in difficulty levels, and there's no doubt players will be stumped more than once as they explore the massive open world. The Sanctum of Benediction, however, is one puzzle that may appear much more difficult than it actually is.

The Sanctum of Benediction is one of four Sanctums that needs to be cleansed as part of "The Witch of Wisdom" quest related to the Witches faction in Crimson Desert. When you first arrive at each Sanctum, you'll need to clear the enemies surrounding the area first, after which you'll need to "cleanse" them by solving a unique puzzle at each location.

Where To Find The Sanctum Of Benediction In Crimson Desert

The Sanctum of Benediction in Crimson Desert can be found in western Hernand, just south of the "E" in Hernand (see above). It's one of the four Sanctums required to complete "The Witch of Wisdom" questline, and after clearing the area of enemies, you'll need to piece together the apparatus in the location to "cleanse" the Sanctum and be able to speak with the Witch.

How To Cleanse The Sanctum Of Benediction

To cleanse the Sanctum of Benediction, you'll need to find two different stone pillar tops located around the Sanctum. The first is relatively easy to grab, and you'll need to use Axiom Force to bring it to the pillar. You then place the object on top of the pillar and climb up, using Aerial Force Palm to push it into place.

The second pillar top in the Sanctum of Benediction is likely to give some players a bit of trouble. It's located inside the tall closed-off structure in the center of the area, and if you're stumped on how to get in, you'll probably kick yourself when you realize all you have to do is light the lantern to the right of the main entrance to open the door.

After opening the entrance and retrieving the second pillar top, you can place it on the other incomplete pillar and use Force Palm again to lock it into place. This will officially "cleanse" the Sanctum, and you'll then be able to speak with the Witch and complete that part of the quest.

While it isn't the most complicated puzzle in Crimson Desert, it's among the earliest that players are likely to get stumped on due to there not being many puzzles up to this point that require a lantern to be lit.
