Chumpy's widow Ellidy Pullin passes up an easy $5000 cash for a box of alcoholic seltzer: 'Cheers baby!'

Ellidy Pullin has passed up a payday for a pallet of booze. 

The 31-year-old model appeared in an Instagram video on Monday where she was offered the choice between a quick $5000 cash or a stack of Hard Fizz alcoholic seltzers. 

'I'd be taking the pallet, obviously, duh,' she said, sipping a drink while laying atop the stack of cases. 

'Cheers baby!' she added, swigging her can of booze in the clip, which was a promotion for a BWS competition.  

Ellidy rose to fame after she became pregnant with the sperm of her late partner Alex 'Chumpy' Pullin.

Recently she faced backlash from her loyal fans over unpleasant comments she made on a podcast.

During a recent episode of her Darling, Shine! podcast, she was asked by a listener about her friendship with her friend and co-host Chloe Fisher.

Her blunt response - which saw her whinge about having to record the podcast and make time for friends who live interstate - was criticised by some listeners as 'mean'.

'We've never had a fight. The only fights we have are f***ing to do with the dumba*** podcast, which stresses us the f*** out,' she said of her relationship with Chloe.

'[Because] I have other s**t going on, so does Coco.'

One fan claimed in a Facebook group that Ellidy's comments were a 'kick in the gut' to long-time listeners.

During the same episode, Ellidy also said she did not have time to call friends who live interstate because she is 'busy and doesn't like sitting on the phone'.

'My friends should know I'm a bit of a long-distance person,' she said.

'I love you all so much. I make an effort. I go to Sydney all the time. You name it, even if your guinea pig is having its birthday, I'm hopping on a plane and I'm going to be there.

'I make an effort, but if I'm not down there, I'm not talking to you all the time. I hope you're well.'

She went on to say some of her friends become 'devastated' when she doesn't respond to their text messages or call them back.

'I sometimes get people being, like, devastated [that] I'm not responding or calling them back. But I've been busy and please don't take this personally but I can't sit on the phone,' Ellidy said.

'Don't base our friendship on how many minutes I speak on the phone to you and all that s**t.'

It comes after Ellidy recently said she was finally open to new love, four years after Chumpy's shocking death.  

The Olympic snowboarder was 32 when he drowned while spearfishing on the Gold Coast in July 2020 - but through an incredible IVF and sperm-retrieval process, Ellidy was was able to have his baby, a girl named Minnie.

Ellidy also opened up on life with her daughter and their kelpie-cross dog Rummi.

She said there was still some of her late partner's sperm available if she wanted 'another Chumpy bubba', but she was considering other options.

'I do see myself having a baby one day with someone else, maybe in like five years' time, but I can't really see myself getting married,' she told the Gold Coast Bulletin.

Ellidy revealed that while she was not yet at the point where she wanted to date anyone long-term, she had had some flings while on holiday.

'What goes on in Bali can stay in Bali. But I couldn't imagine bringing anyone home,' she told the publication.

'Right now I'm just really happy with the three of us – me, Minnie and Rummi.'

She said Rummi gave her reason to get up in the morning after Chumpy's sudden death in the winter of 2020.

The kelpie needed her walks, so they would get up at 5am and walk on the beach for an hour, which Ellidy said was 'therapy and meditation' for her and kept her grounded.

Rummi was Chumpy's dog, who loved him so much that the model sometimes felt like a 'third wheel', but now the kelpie never leaves her side.

She said that part of Rummi, and part of her, are still waiting for Chumpy to walk back in the door and that she even has a recurring dream where that happens.
