A number of notable names were excluded from the In Memoriam segment during Monday night's Emmy awards, with some fans taking to social media to vent about the snubs.
Chuck Norris, Daveigh Chase, Nicholas Brendon, Patrick Muldoon, Jaye P. Morgan, Peter Cullen and Tom Kane were among those omitted from the somber segment.
The segment from Monday's show had been accompanied by a performance of the Simon & Garfunkel classic Bridge Over Troubled Water from Noah Kahan.
Those remembered included James Burrows, Robert Carradine, Tim Curry, Eric Dane, Robert Duvall, Shelley Fabares, Bob Mackie, Sam Neill, Catherine O'Hara, Dolly Parton, Vincent Pastore, Hayden Panettiere, Rob Reiner, Ted Turner and James Van Der Beek.
Multiple people pointed out the exclusion of Norris, who died at the age of 86 this past March, noting his long-running TV series Walker, Texas Ranger.
'Chuck Norris did nine seasons of Walker, Texas Ranger which was a hit show at the time,' one user said. 'He was basically on TV for the entirety of the 90s. They could’ve included him. #Emmys.

Chuck Norris, who died at the age of 86 this past March, was not in the segment despite starring in the long-running TV series Walker, Texas Ranger
Another user asked, 'How the hell do you omit Chuck frickin Norris!?' noting that the late action star 'literally led his own 9-season show.'
Said one user: 'Chuck Norris left out of the #Emmys In Memoriam?!?!?!?! WTF. Seriously a little angry about that.'
Chase, who was 35 when she died of AIDS this past June, had a number of TV credits, including Big Love, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Oliver Beene.
'Not having Daveigh Chase in the In Memoriam was really sad,' one user said.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor Brendon's exclusion from the segment shocked some users, as it came on a night his one-time co-stars on the show, Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz, were presenters.
'Having a Buffy reunion on stage and then leaving out Nicholas Brendon is crazy work,' said one user of the actor, who died at 54 this past March.
Another commented, 'HOW do you not include Nicholas Brendon in the In Memoriam?! SHAME ON YOU.'
In the segment, Parton, who died last month at 80, was honored by Reba McEntire, who delivered a rendition of the late singer's song Appalachian Memories.

O’Hara, who died at the age of 71 in January, had been remembered in a segment that featured a number of her one-time collaborators, including Annie Murphy, Macaulay Culkin, and Dan Levy.
Jamie Lee Curtis delivered an emotional memorial to her late friend and colleague Reiner and his wife Michele, coming more than nine months after the couple was fatally stabbed in their Brentwood, California home.
Reiner last week posthumously won a Creative Arts Emmy for his role as Albert Schnurr on The Bear.
'Last week, Robby won an Emmy for Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his beautiful work on The Bear,' the actress stated. 'And he now holds the record, of 48 years, for the longest gap between acting Emmys - which was previously held by his father, Carl Reiner, at 37 years.'
Curtis described Reiner as 'generous and kind, and funny as hell and a friend to all.
'He was generous and kind and funny as hell, and a friend to all. We all miss Rob and Michele and all those we lost this year.'
